This is second time but I enjoy those time with my friends. There is two spots one is elementary and another is secondary. Its open only winter season for skiing. Equipment and transportation provide some shop nearest to resorts. Cost about equipment and ticket 50000won.5

This is Bears Town ski resort. About 90 minutes outside Seoul. It's one of the nearest ski resorts from the city. Facilities are top notch, there are personnel around the resort, ski rental rates are fare and its cheap to ski here than elsewhere. Different slopes for different levels. Worth a visit4

A family-friendly resort one hour far from Seoul. Possibility to rent clothes, ski and buy ski pass in the shops down the station. Ski pass package for the half day. Beginner skiers and more advanced skiers are welcomed. There is a sledging area. Ideal to change your mind even if the snow cannons remind us that the environment is not very "natural"3

This Resort was very famous about 30 ~ 35 years ago, and in that period only Korean high society were able to visit and stay in this Resort due to expensive cost to spend.
When I visited on 31 Jan 2021, the rate per night for a room around 40m2 was very reasonable compared to other similar Resort. The lower rate perhaps because the Buildings already old, some outside wall covers torns, faded painting and less facilities inside room.
So, it will not recommended if Visitors expect high class services and facilities.
But if Visitors intention is to spend time for ski during winter and other outdoor activities during summer than this Resort can be considered.
However, the cafe inside Management Office is an attractive place to visit.
Plus helpful and polite Officers when we need something also is a plus point for this Resort.2

It's a decent option if Gangwon-do isn't accessible, but be prepared for skiing or boarding on icy conditions.
