Great hotel, very honest price, clean, large, and comfortable rooms. A little far from downtown, but not a problem if you're there by car - can actually be a plus considering the large parking area and tranquility. Nice breakfast, and excellent service!
I'd like to extend my special thanks and to recommend the following staff members: Lorenzo, Arianna, Beatrice and Claudia from B&B Hotel Mantova.
They gave me and my family great attention and care, and solved all the issues we had.
I mistakenly made two reservations for the same night, and Claudia quickly solved the problem for me, sending forward a cancelling request at the very moment. She was very gentile and helped me handle this issue with lightness and clarity.
Lorenzo, who I talked to in the reception the next day, was also a lovely person. He gave me tips on the city that were very informative and is a very polite young man.
I had also received similarly good attention and care from Arianna and Beatrice, who made sure the hotel area where Breakfast is served -- and also the breakfast itself -- were perfect.
You can see how this young lady, Beatrice, was working hard on her duties, as we had breakfast and watched her, early in the morning, dealing with some dirtiness some hotel guests left at the outside area of the hotel the night before.
Overall, staying here was a great experience and I will definitely come to you again when returning to Mantova.5

For the price, our experience was excellent. However, I have a few suggestions:
1. Install flexible lights on either side of the bed. If you need to get up during the night you can either walk through a dark room or turn on a bright light. Small, low-wattage reading lights would be a plus.
2. Install water-saving (large and small) flush system on all toilets.
3. Sharply reduce audio volume of TV in common / eating area.4

A great option, near the motorway but also very close to the town of Mantova and the lakes, which are worth a visit. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast (totally worth paying for it) and the staff at reception were friendly and welcoming. But we didn't like having two separate rooms (for a family of 2 adults and 3 children) not even on the same floor. Also keep in mind that the room on the ground floor was very noisy, specially because of breakfast and entrance. But beds were confortable and big. A good option for visiting the area.4

Really good hotel with friendly staff and good service. We stayed for two nights. Our room had a lot of potential but could really deliver. The hygiene could have been better like the shower of the mold by the windows. Also the room did have some water damage which looked unpleasant. Also you can hear the sounds from the rooms beside yours and the doors didn't close silently.
The hotel is located on a pretty quiet area in the town but near the good restaurants and main roads.
