I stayed here at the recommendation of an acquaintance. And I am so glad I did. I believe the most important part of the experience of staying at a hotel is how welcome they make you feel. And the staff here were very welcoming. Especially Mr. Kim Soo Il. He made sure that every aspect of my stay was wonderful. I wanted to express my gratitude to him and his staff for helping me make my vacation perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is very central and accessible (there is a direct bus to the airport as well). The facilities are nice as well.

Excellent location. Big mall underneath. Good service. Very crowded entrance. Above average price. Room look outdated, needs to be renew and change the color🥹

I stayed at Oakwood Coex in 2017 and thought it was very nice. I stayed here again in November 2023. How did so much change? This is just an old hotel now. I stayed in a similar one bedroom suite. Bed and sofa has been used so much they sag and are not comfortable. In 2017, wifi download speed was over 150mbs. 2023 it was 20mbs at best. Also in the morning when the restaurant on 5th floor is making bacon or someone cooking in the morning, you can smell it in my room on 9th floor. The shower has a steam feature which still works great but there was that moldy smell when you walk in the shower. If you are looking for a lot of room for a cheaper price at Coex, Oakwood will be a good option for you. I would not stay here again.

In general, it’s a good hotel to stay in Gangnam. It’s located at very good location and staff here is very friendly. However, there are still some parts should be improved. 1. The sliding door in bathroom is very difficult to open and close. I think its dangerous due to slippery floor. 2. The washlet is broken.
