Decent stay but the entrance is very sketchy. Dirty and unkempt, I almost had a hard time finding the place. The check-in is unstaffed most of the night, and they’ll prepare you your key and forms on the desk. They also give you a gift of little snacks of chips and cookies which I thought was generous.
I paid $38 for a single room which is very good for the price! Unfortunately the charging outlet was broken and there wasn’t any soap in the bathrooms. The bed was fairly hard but I can’t complain that much.
Overall a good place to stay for a day or 2 if you’re in the area and is good value.3

The hostel is conveniently situated in the heart of Myeongdong, making it an ideal location for shopping. Finding the hostel can be a bit challenging as it is situated on a street adjacent to the main street. However, it is conveniently located just a 5-10 minute walk from Myeongdong Station. Please note that there are a few stairs at the entrance of the hostel before reaching the elevator. If you have heavy luggage, it's important to be aware of this. Additionally, during our stay, the restaurant located downstairs was undergoing renovation, which resulted in a dirty environment.
Although the room is on the smaller side, considering its price and central position, I have no complaints. The bedding is brown in color but appears to be clean overall. The bathroom in our room is tidy and doesn't have any unpleasant odors. However, the design of the bathroom lacks a separation between dry and wet areas. The sink and shower share the same tap, so you have to be cautious when using the sink to avoid getting wet from the shower.
One thing to note is that we had to dispose of our own trash in the common area, which we weren't aware of initially. Additionally, there was no room cleaning service during our three-day stay. Unfortunately, we discovered a cockroach as we were leaving, likely due to the garbage we left in the room.
On a positive note, the staff provided a welcome snack upon our arrival and check-out and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day. Although we didn't have an opportunity to have breakfast, it's worth mentioning that they use reusable utensils, which is environmentally friendly.3

Not a bad location, with very friendly and helpful staff. Beware though, the bathroom has the typical South Korean plumbing with no s-bends, so expect mosquitoes in the room and the signature Seoul sewer odour - I suggest keeping your bathroom door closed.3

Rooms: Everything was clean and tidy. The only downside is the bathroom. It stinks like rotten eggs if not worse. Th3 plumbing So I would suggest you keep the fan going at night so it won't smell too bad in the morning.
Service: The hosts were very nice and helpful
Location: Not that far from the metro and the center of myeongdong. Although, the side road its on is rather dark, but still very safe. You might miss it at first. I almost did.😅
