Every single aspect about this hotel was amazing. The staff were continuously going out of their way for me. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have an amazing view. The breakfast buffet is 10/10 as well as the patisserie! The location is also perfect with easy access to the metro and taxi's always at reception. Will definitely be back!

I am a staycation lover, frequent to many 5* hotels in Asia. The Shilla Seoul is an exemplary hotel which I highly recommend.
It is very well maintained and you don’t feel dated at all.
Their service standard made this hotel shines above other big hoteliers. From concierge to reception, host to housekeeping, their meticulous service and attention with good command of English is commendable.
Room size (35m) is very comfortable, good Namsan’s mountain view or city view.
Fluffy towel, hugging mattress, fine down pillows and silky, nicely pressed linen, you feel so much loved and pampered by their efforts. Certainly above the ‘heavenly bed’…
I have to highlight their housekeeper’s excellent detailed work:
- They nearly tied up my gadget’s wires with their Velcro tape;
- Nicely line up my toiletries with finely pressed cloth
- Turn down service is excellent
Free shuttle to Dongguk Uni, free hourly shuttle to MyeongDong. Nearby Shilla Duty Free is worth couple hours of your time if you are into big brands.
A must stay in Seoul, I will be back for sure.

I booked two rooms for my mum's birthday celebration.
As I requested, they gave us a high floor and a nice view.
The room condition was excellent, and the beds were superb.
But their service needs to improve a lot.
1)They charged me for a swimsuit, and I didn't use the swimming pool.
2)Provide different info on which park view bf time frame. So we couldn't eat bf and had to go to room service, and I found out from another staff member that we could.
3)We ordered different dishes, but the wrong condiments were served. So we had to change ourselves.
4)restaurant people are rude and look so tired. We went to Park View and Palsun; the staff was extremely rude, and the duck was horrible.
In conclusion, I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL CUZ IT IS OVER RATED. AS A KOREAN, I HAD HIGH EXPECTATIONS OF THIS HOTEL BECAUSE THIS HOTEL REPRESENTS KOREA'S HOSPITALITY. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND SHAME AS KOREAN.RESTAURANT STAFF NEED PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AS THEY AREN'T.

Not worth the price. For example, the hotel service team told us not to take out our luggages from our car even though I explained him we are staying at the hotel. He didn't offer any assistance whatsoever. Also, we couldn't use the hotel elevators for a while because the hotel service team was blocking the area for some other customers who are supposedly more "important" than us, regular customers. Very dissootsnted and will never come back.
