The Gangneung Provincial Performing Arts Company, under the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, is seeking collaboration groups for a plan to enhance regional theater from Gangwon. Interested groups must have performed in Gangwon for at least one project annually since 2022, or have at least seven members who have participated in five or more productions. The initiative aims to reinforce the local theater identity and boost regional arts development. Performance planning and promotion will be handled by the Gangneung Provincial Performing Arts Company, whereas partner groups will select works and manage production. An agreement with selected groups will commence in June, culminating in performances at the end of August in the group’s locality.
