1. V/JIMIN'S HIGH SCHOOL
*Please keep in mind that entry to schools in Korea are not permitted and photos are only allowed from outside the school.
The first spot is the high school that V and Jimin attended.
V came to Seoul when he was a first-year high school student from Daegu. Jimin, born in Busan, moved to Seoul in second grade of high school (There are 3 years in Korean high school).

The school we're about to introduce is not only the school that V and Jimin attended, but it's also the arts school many other idols attended.
It was originally named Korea Arts High School (한국예술고등학교), but changed its name to Korea Arts School (한국예술학교) in 2019. The school's education focuses on three major fields including music (classical music and practical music), art, theatre and film (acting, music, film and directing).
Korea Arts School (한국예술학교)
Address: 서울 성동구 무학로 6길 41
41 Muhangno 6(yuk)-gil, Wangsimnidoseon-dongSeongdong-gu, Seoul
Walk straight ahead from exit 1 of Wangsimni Station.
When you see the large, colourful object, turn right.
Go straight and you'll see the building on the right.
The building has a historic vibe to it, which makes each visit worthwhile.
Next, we're going to head over to Apgujeong High School attended by SUGA, who moved to Seoul from Daegu on a bus, and RM, who moved to Seoul from a nearby city of Ilsan.
From Wangsimni Station, take the yellow subway line (Bundang line) down to Apgujeong Rodeo station. From exit 7, walk straight unttil you reach a major intersection with a school.
SUGA & RM'S HIGH SCHOOL
Apgujeong High School (압구정고등학교)
Address: 서울 강남구 압구정로39길 20
20 Apgujeong-ro 39-gil, Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
The school is known for its cute uniforms. They don't have a separate program for idol trainees, but because of the location (close to Cheongdam-dong where many celeb scenes happen) and a relatively liberal school rules, many idol and actor trainees attend the school.
The school actually saw many of its students become celebrities. The photos below show SUGA and RM wearing different uniforms, so we believe the photo of SUGA was taken at his former school in Daegu.

JUNGKOOK'S HIGH SCHOOL
This school, well-known for its bright uniforms, is famous among all K-pop fans!
The school offers an extensive list of performing arts programs including applied music, applied dance, acting, stage arts, etc.
School Of Performing Arts Seoul (서울공연예술고등학교)
Address: 서울 구로구 오리로22나길 16-26
16-26 Ori-ro 22na-gil, Gung-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul
From Onsu station, it's about a 20-minute walk away.
You can also take the 6716 bus at exit 8 of Onsu station and get off after 4 stops at Yerim Design High School, Oryu High School, School Of Performing Arts Seoul.
We must have visited right when school was off because we saw a number of students in bright yellow uniforms walking down the hill.
When Jungkook started attending the school, he had already debuted as BTS, so the news of him entering the school was big news!
He diligently attended while being an idol for 3 years. The news of him graduating was also huge.

We also covered the restaurant the members went to to celebrate Jungkook's graduation in the article, so keep reading!
JIN'S ALMA MATER
Now, we're going to visit schools Jin attended!
Jin is from the city of Gwacheon, but he started attending school in the district of Songpa in Seoul since elementary.
We're not sure if his family moved to Seoul for his education or he commuted from Gwacheon. If you guys know, please let us know!
His elementary, middle and high schools were all situated close together, so it'll be an easy trip.
The schools are also close to tourist attractions like Lotte World, Seoul Olympic Park and many more, so you can do many things at once in the area.
Seoul Seryun Elementary School
(서울세륜초등학교)
Address: 서울특별시 송파구 양재대로 1264
1264 Yangjae-daero, Oryun-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul
From exit 1 of Olympic Park station, walk straight for about 5 minutes and you'll see the elementary school.
The land size of the school is pretty big for a school in Seoul. You can also see the Lotte Tower from here!
Lotte Tower wasn't built when Jin was a kid, but the area itself has been prominent and wealthy, so we can assume that Jin had a comfortable childhood.
A source who knew Jin in elementary school said that he had a bright personality and had lots of friends. He often hung out with friends after school and came home just on time for dinner!
Posung Middle & High School
(보성중・고등학교)
Address: 서울특별시 송파구 양재대로 1278
1278 Yangjae-daero, Oryun-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul
This school, situated on a large plot of land, is a private school for boys.
While attending second year in middle school here, Jin was first scouted to be in the entertainment scene (There are 3 years of middle school and 3 years of high school in Korea).
The agency that tried to scout him was TVXQ, EXO and NCT's SM Entertainment! When Jin was offered a trainee position, he thought it was a scam.
From watching Queen Seondeok of Silla, he first dreams of becoming an actor.

DONGCHEONHONG (동천홍)
Address: 서울 양천구 목동서로 225
225 Mokdongseo-ro, Mok 1(il)-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul

Fans loved that the members posed similarly for the two occasions!
Dongcheonhong has multiple locations, but the one ARMYs want to go to is in Mokdong, Seoul.
Take the elevator up to the second floor.
ARMYs have probably seen the photo below of the restaurant owner taking the members' payment.
Maknae Jungkook is paying. How cute!
Usually, the room the members booked is only available to reserving group of a certain size, but the owner allowed us to take pictures on our visit because it was empty.
In Korean, the name of the room is Dongsil. Be sure to specify the name on the phone if you and your friends or family would like to reserve the room in advance!
The fish paintings we saw in the photos! They're still there.

You'll also find Jungkook's autograph at the restaurant.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite elegant, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable.
Copying BTS, we ordered a large jjajangmyeon · 짜장면 (₩8,000) and shrimp fried rice · 새우볶음밥 (₩8,000).
The jjajang sauce was amazingly delicious!
Dessert was included in the meal and we got mattang · 맛탕 (sweet potato made in sweet sauce).
Korean-Chinese food is a must-try when in Korea! We would definitely recommend Dongcheonhong to ARMYs and travellers.
That was our tour around all the schools in Seoul the BTS members attended.
