Although the baby had a great cosmetic clinic experience at Myeongdong OTENA CLINIC

Whenever I come to Korea, I always take the chance to try out Korea's cosmetic treatments, they’re so great 🥰 These days everyone has a limited budget but still wants to look better, and who doesn’t want to be more beautiful!
And this time, while I was in town to see my favorite idol's fan meeting, I also booked an appointment at a cosmetic clinic on Creatrip that had great reviews and ratings - OTENA Clinic - and of course it was amazing, I have to recommend it! Below I’ll briefly introduce the treatments I got and my thoughts 🥰
First, the clinic is located on a main street in Myeongdong, in the upper floors of a building, so it’s very easy to find (Seoul, Jung-gu, Namdaemun-ro 90, 17F), it seems like the whole building is full of cosmetic clinics 😂 After waiting for the elevator and going up, you’ll see a pretty, stylish reception area!

Don’t worry about language once you get there, the front desk staff are skilled at everything 😂 someone who speaks Chinese comes right over to help, and they even bring complimentary nut snacks, super thoughtful!
And just look how comfy this place is!

When the in-clinic service introduction started, great, I could also communicate in Chinese directly. Because I had some very painful treatments at another clinic before (Rejuran and others), I was a bit shocked last time, so this time I asked the staff to explain the procedures. She was very thoughtful, and based on your skin condition and needs, she offers introductions to various treatments.
They started by explaining which treatments are suitable for me,and why those particular methods would work better for my individual needs(I thought this was a big plus! More expensive doesn’t always mean better, choosing what fits your needs is what matters most!)
Of course, listing a bunch of treatments at once can make anyone dizzy😂, so I’ll helparrange the most urgent ones or work within your budget, and prioritize the treatments that will give you the best improvements!
I also weighed my budget and ended up getting five treatments:
1. Ultra MP300 (Korean Ultraformer-style ultrasound) for jawline contouring (chin improvement curve) (₩75,900)
2. InMode FX one area (also targeting the lower contour line) (KRW 31,900)
3. Fioleman / NCTF 135 (mesotherapy) 3cc (KRW 141,900)
4. pumpkin acid peel (KRW 86,900)
5. LDM hydrating treatment 6 minutes (KRW 31,900)
Here’s a quick breakdown of the items!
Among these five, the Korean ultrasound knife and INMODE are paired together, because double chin needs lifting-type products the most! If you want better lifting results today, I'd recommend the U.S. version (too bad my budget couldn’t keep up 😂), but the staff also explained the U.S. version is more expensive because the effects last longer! It can even last up to a year, so if you have the budget today, of course I’d recommend the U.S. version, it’s actually more cost-effective. INMODE also helps reduce fat and firms the skin, making it a perfect match with lifting products 🥰
Because my skin tends to get dry, moisturizing is always something I need to work on, and Fioman is a kind of skin booster / mesotherapy ('water glow' injection) product. Most of the products with the best moisturizing effects are injectable products, before I didn’t know and got Rejuran, it really hurt so much I cried 🥲 (though the results were undeniable), this time the clinic kindly understood my situation and recommended a machine-based (MTS (microneedle therapy system)) treatment, the effect of course isn’t top-tier, but the pain during the procedure was so much less! (mind-blowing)
It turns out skin booster / mesotherapy ('water glow' injection) isn’t painful in every case! I feel more informed and confident about future treatments after getting it, thanks for the clinic recommendation 🥹
And the pumpkin acid peel and LDM complement each other, the earlier procedures are professional treatments, while these two are more like skincare! Pumpkin acid itself really helps with skin exfoliation and cell turnover. Paired with LDM’s deep hydration, calming of sensitive redness and swelling, and stimulation of collagen production, they’re all great post-laser buddies and not unfamiliar. I think whenever you get laser treatments, you really need to use LDM to help the skin recover!
After going over the treatments, I paid (cash and card are both fine!) and we got started, I have to say the clinic’s atmosphere is gorgeous! A subtle fragrance filled the air, but I was so absorbed in the setting I forgot to take photos 😂, so here are some photos of the space from online!

This is where you remove makeup and wash your face before the procedure.

During the treatment you get your own private treatment room, it’s not an assembly-line setup where everyone can see each other, the privacy is excellent!
Before the treatment started, a translator came in to help introduce the doctor who would be doing my procedure (so pretty 🥰), and the doctor kept checking on me because she was worried about pain, always making sure I wasn't uncomfortable! I was really touched 🥹
The whole procedure, including the prior consultation and timing, took about 2 hours, which was pretty quick (it took a bit longer because some treatments required numbing). In summary, it was a really great aesthetic clinic experience and memory, so next time you're visiting Seoul Station Myeongdong, you might want to check out OTENA Clinic~
You can book through Creatrip, and you can also make a free consultation reservation. The information is tailored to your specific concerns, which is really helpful for making improvements!
