Fulfilled the dream of becoming Dae Jang Geum in Seoul

I saw online before that someone wore Dae Jang Geum costumes at Gyeongbokgung Palace!
This became one of my must-do activities on this trip to Seoul!
Book the date, time, and plan on creatrip and you're all set✔️
I usually book a earlier time to wear Hanbok
I went once in the afternoon and the whole shop was crowded, so it was hard to pick outfits properly
This time we booked for 9 a.m., and as expected we were the only group in the morning. When we returned the clothes three tourists came in at once, so it was a good thing we were already finished~
On the day, just put on a light Dae Jang Geum-style makeup after getting up
The shop I booked(https://creatrip.com/spot/14342?utm_source=AFF-4kqllpuis next to Changdeokgung Palace, and since I was staying nearby in Hanok Village, I slowly walked over. After I went inside, the Auntie enthusiastically helped me pick out several different Dae Jang Geum costumes from the show.
I've worn Hanbok at least four times in the past few years (each time at a different shop, and this one really felt the most high-quality!
Generally I'm not sure if it's because people are afraid of getting the clothes dirty or what, but the Hanbok skirt I wore before at most reached my ankles, whereas the one I wore here, just like in Korean dramas, covered my feet (the overall feeling was completely different 🥹)
After picking the outfit I liked, the Auntie helping me change saw my underlayer and immediately said, 'Ai-yi-go~,' which basically meant it would be too cold to wear that. She handed me a Nude Underlayer from the shop to put on — it even had front and back pockets like Doraemon. I tucked a Hot Pack inside, and I didn’t need a coat all day, so I could keep taking beautiful photos.

I really want to know where that outfit was bought, or if the shop made it themselves 🤔
Jang-Geum Winter Outfit Suggestions
1. Wear a wool sweater underneath
The V-neck was better; Auntie pinned it up for me with a safety pin.
2. If the shop has a skin-colored inner lining like this, I recommend adding it!
I was originally wearing a Wool Vest but the Auntie switched me into this one (they didn’t charge extra) and tossed a Hot Pack into the pocket!
I originally used an adhesive Black Top, and when I dined indoors it almost burned me and was very hard to peel off — Korean Hot Packs get extremely hot indoors!
3. Underneath I’m wearing ultra-thick leg warmers that work down to -10°C
The outer dress is just for styling — not strictly necessary
That day it was around 5°C, and I didn't wear a cloak or my own coat at all, so I could walk the streets in the full Dae Jang Geum look without feeling bulky!
Halfway through we went to a restaurant and it was unbearably hot, so we quickly pulled out the Hot Pack 🤣
Auntie did such a thorough job styling my hair! The accessories were delicate and neat, and the overall feeling was incredibly wonderful. Even though we didn’t speak the same language, we had a great time chatting using Papago~

Next time I want to wear the Queen Consort's clothes again haha
Recommended for everyone! Sharing some more photos from that day
