The hotel boasts a fantastic city location, offering convenient access to the metro and within walking distance to bustling markets and exquisite palaces. One of its notable highlights is the captivating view of the reclaimed and renovated canal, making it an ideal spot for invigorating morning runs or leisurely strolls. As for the overall experience, the hotel lives up to expectations for its price range and category.

Good location for our first stay in Seoul - takes 1 hour 10 min by train/subway from ICN airport. Walking distance to busier areas with food and shops, but the street the hotel is on is quiet after 8pm. Easy check in process at the front desk and rooms have AC. There is a mini fridge and kettle, but no dressers or places to store clothing (closet can have 6 hung pieces). King size bed is comparable to North America, and lots of outlets but you will need an adapter if you’re coming from North America. Rooms are not huge, but there is enough space for a couple and their luggage. There’s free wifi and is perfect for a affordable place to stay for sleep and a quick take out meal in the room.

Rooms were a bit old but looked ok and were bearable with. Yet, the service was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. I was with my family so we drunk a lot of water. After 3 nights, they probably realised and gave us 6 instead of 4 water bottles. Very considerate. Hotel not far from Jongno-3 station, walkable distance; restaurants are very close by, hidden gems if you are observant. But I hate to say that the Wi-Fi here is terrible, you need to rely on Hotspot or Mobile Data only. Overall a good budget friendly hotel.

This hotel isn't actually in Myeong-Dong, but just outside it to the north in a sort of industrial area where they sell stuff like ventilation equipment and other hardware in small stores all around the hotel.
You are quite some distance away from the hotspot of Myeong-Dong, but I found that not to be that much of an issue in the end.
Since you are away from the touristy area there are more locals around here and not many tourists, so there is much more of a local vibe when it comes to restaurants and stuff like that.
It's also fairly close to Gwangjang market, which is a very interesting place to get street food at.
Rooms were pretty good, considering the price we paid it was an excellent deal.
Close to two metro stations and very well connected to public transport with line 1 stopping at the station to the north and line 2 and 3 at the station to the south.

-The room was dirty; mold in the bathroom, disgusting things under the bed, two insects in the room and stains on the table.
-They give small quantity of shampoo and soap. For two people, it wasn't enough. If you stay there for a long time, you would have to ask for more.
-The shampoo doesn't clean the hair properly. I would recommand bring your own.
-It was a calm hotel and the room size is good.
