Language School Sharing

I've planned for a long time and finally decided to attend the language school!

If you already know when you need to start submitting materials when applying earlier,
It’s recommended to start handling it three to four weeks in advance — don’t be like me… I thought CREATRIP would take care of it for me (wishful thinking)
Only realized two weeks before submission that I needed to handle the data myself… the diploma takes the longest, remember that~~

After successfully applying, before the semester starts you still have to take a placement test; there are written and oral parts. I was super nervous because I hadn’t studied Korean in so long. Q
I checked online before the test and it said not to write anything you’re unsure about so it won’t affect the teacher’s judgment, so I left all the answers I didn’t know blank,
They also said that if you want to advance to Level 3 you need to write the composition afterward; I'm not sure that writing it will definitely guarantee Level 3,
But because I wanted to take Level 3, I braced myself and wrote ><
Speaking is a bit like a conversation — the teacher asks you some questions, some of which are the same as those on the written test,
The teacher later said that although I knew what I was supposed to know, my fundamentals were a bit weak and my speaking sounded very strange,
But I still successfully passed the level 3 I wanted!
When school started I found out I was the only freshman in our class; the others all moved up from second level QQ
Also, because I don't really remember first- and second-level grammar, or I know the grammar but I'm not sure what to put before it,
Also, I’m not very good at distinguishing adjectives from verbs, but that seems pretty important in grammar, so I’ll probably need to review it myself.
I think the course moves pretty quickly; we usually finish one lesson in about two or three days, and there’s a short quiz after every three lessons,
I didn’t study any more than usual; I just did the homework every day according to the schedule the teacher gave.
But it's easy to forget the earlier grammar, so it's still recommended to review it.
The university's listening, speaking, reading, and writing are all about average; personally I'd like the speaking portion to be a bit more emphasized (though that might be my own issue).
There is also a language partner system — it seems like one Korean is paired with three (or even five) language school students. I didn't apply, but you can apply if you want to practice speaking. I later regretted not applying…
Also, the municipal university requires absences not exceed forty hours; if exceeded you must withdraw. Someone in our class missed too many classes early on and later had to come back (?), so don’t think the language school is easy XD
For living expenses, maybe I live in a more rural area (?) and don't have much of a social life,
Other than going to cafés to do homework, I don't have many big expenses, and I often eat at the campus cafeteria,

About three months, around 40,000–60,000 (not including lodging). I stayed at the Examination Yuan for lodging, which costs about 13,000 a month,
But the examination hall room I stayed in was rather large, so I thought it was still acceptable,
I asked classmates; there are many testing centers around Huiji, so there should be a lot of choices~
By the way, after finishing my first day of class I was going to buy the textbook, but when I checked my inbox I found that if you apply through CREATRIP the textbook is included,
It directly saved me some money XDD (but you still need to buy the workbook!)

After actually starting the class, I felt a lot of pressure at first,
But the teacher's classes are always fun, and the explanations are also pretty clear.
I got more used to it afterward, and the pressure became less.
Also, although you have to get up very early in the morning, you only have classes for half a day, so you have time in the afternoon to go out and have fun~
That's all, for your reference 🥰
