Ximending is located on the west side of Gyeongbokgung Palace (the east side is Samcheong-dong, Bukchon and Changdeokgung Palace). I found this traditional Korean house café through a Korean travel promotion account on Instagram, and the café we found is located in the alleys of Seomyeon. The location is not hard to find because it is very close to the main road with a lot of people in Seomyeon (a few steps away is Daewooshojeom, the retro bookstore where IU's album cover was taken).
That day we arrived at the cafe around one in the afternoon. At first, we rented the whole place because there was absolutely no one there. The interesting thing is that it wasn't a regular day for us; we came on a Sunday! But later, more and more groups of people started coming. We really knew how to pick the moment, so while there was still no one around, we took several special photos. Look at the entrance of the cafe in the picture above, it's really Korean style, isn't it?

El interior de la cafetería está predominantemente hecho de madera y colores cálidos. Sentarse adentro da una sensación completa de relajación y comodidad. Aunque es una casa tradicional coreana antigua renovada, el diseño general es muy moderno. También hay un ligero aroma a madera, y la tienda está decorada con incienso, lo que mejora la atmósfera general.
En cuanto a sus bebidas y postres, el rango de precios se considera medio a alto. Después de todo, este café de estilo coreano tiene un toque de lujo minimalista en su atmósfera, y la mayoría de las bebidas vienen en porciones pequeñas. ¡Pedimos chocolate caliente, café con leche, café y té caliente, y todos eran de alta calidad! Es agradable disfrutarlo de vez en cuando, pero si vienes a menudo, es posible que tengas que rendirte ante tu billetera. Para aquellos que están de viaje corto a Seúl, por supuesto, deben venir y disfrutarlo, sentir la comodidad de estar sentados en una casa coreana mientras toman el té de la tarde, charlan con amigos y juegan con sus teléfonos discutiendo planes de viaje (en ese momento, mi teléfono casi se quedó sin batería y la tienda incluso me ayudó a cargarlo XD).
