Jeonju siempre ha estado en mi lista de lugares que visitar en Corea, incluso antes de venir a Corea. ¡Casualmente, acabo de terminar de ver el popular drama coreano 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' y muchas de sus ubicaciones de filmación estaban en Jeonju! Así que planeé un viaje de dos días y una noche para visitar las ubicaciones de filmación del drama y disfrutar de un viaje a un ritmo lento. After finishing our first meal, we headed to the most famous Hanok village in Jeonju. Our first stop was '경기전', which later became famous because of the Korean drama '구르미 그린 달빛 (Moonlight Drawn by Clouds)' - Prince Bo-gum filmed scenes here! The Hall of Records and the Bamboo Forest Path are frequent filming locations in the drama, and 'Queen Under the Sun' was also filmed here! '경기전' is a popular spot for tourists to take photos, especially with the Bamboo Forest Path, where you may have to line up for a photo... In addition, there is a highlight within the '경기전' complex called the 'Museum of Royal Portraits (어진박물관)' that became a new attraction in Jeonju after its opening in November 2010. You can visit the museum for free without any entrance fee. The museum is divided into the first floor above ground and the first floor below ground. The first floor above ground is an exhibition space for the royal portraits of the kings, and it is an exhibition space with significant historical preservation value. It's very cool with air conditioning in the summer... you can escape the heat and also learn about the history of Korea.

When I used to read articles about Korean tourism in Taiwan, I often saw the panoramic view of the entire Hanok village in Jeonju, which became a place I always wanted to visit. This time, I finally saw the real thing. Jeonju's Hanok village is located in the Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong area of Jeonju. Walking through Jeonju's Hanok village gives a feeling of relaxation and vacation. The streets are lined with Hanok houses, and there is no trace of modern architecture, making it truly a 'slow city.' In addition to sightseeing, Jeonju's Hanok village also has many commercial streets where you can satisfy your cravings for food and shopping. In addition, many people choose to rent Hanbok to wear here, but I recommend doing it when the weather is cooler, as it will be more comfortable and make better photos (summer heat is definitely no joke).

Located near Hanok village throughout the province, the location is relatively easy to find, but there is a small climb to get there. Walking in Korea is already a workout, so climbing this little hill is nothing! The appearance here is exactly the same as the one seen in the drama (but I didn't see the boy peeing). The architecture itself is quite beautiful and suitable for taking photos with the building. A friend next to me even suggested throwing a newspaper (is he getting too into the drama?). It is not clear if anyone currently lives here, but there are still residents in the surrounding area, so please be mindful of your noise level when visiting. And because it is also a high point, the appearance of the village can be observed.

Se tarda unos 10 minutos en taxi desde la estación de Jeonju, pero también puedes llegar en autobús. ¡Sin embargo, ten en cuenta el horario de operación del autobús ya que la ubicación no está en el centro de la ciudad! When we arrived in the province, Korea was already in summer, the weather was extremely hot and humid. After visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace, we went to a cafe called Masirange located next to the palace walls to refresh ourselves with a refreshing drink. This is a popular cafe worthy of Instagram because the second floor offers a view of the Gyeongbokgung Palace landscape and provides a place to take certification photos for visitors. The photo spot looks... very dreamy, right? The background is the Gyeongbokgung Palace (but in summer, it's too green and the traditional Korean buildings are blocked by the trees).
