Christie's, the world's largest auction house, known for first featuring AI-generated artworks, is launching its very first special auction consisting solely of AI art. From November 20 to December 5, an exhibition titled 'Augmented Intelligence' will be held at Christie's New York gallery in Rockefeller Center, with online bidding available. The auction includes over 20 pieces by pioneers and emerging artists in the AI art field, such as refik Anadol, Claire Silver, and Harold Cohen. Featured works include Holly Herndon and Mat Dryhurst's 'Embedding Study 1 & 2', and drawings by Harold Cohen's AI robot 'Aaron'. This event underscores the collaboration between technology and artistry in the evolving landscape of AI-created art.
