Lotte Chilsung Beverage is adopting the 'Food QR' service, initiated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, for its products like 'Milkis' and 'Saero' (a type of Korean soju). The service allows consumers to access nutritional content, storage instructions, and safety precautions by scanning a QR code on the product. This initiative aims to make product information more accessible, especially for the visually impaired, by providing larger text and additional tools like braille and sign language videos. The company plans to expand this to more of their products, including carbonated drinks and beers. The goal is to overcome the spatial limitations of product labels and enhance information delivery.
