I've been to Korea over 50 times but still can't get enough of it! Myeongdong dumplings

Hello, I am Yutamu!
As the title suggests, I have visited Korea more than 50 times, studied abroad in Korea, and even experienced a working holiday in Korea. However, there is still a shop in Myeongdong that I continue to visit, so I would like to introduce it.

Yes, the famous Myeongdong dumplings (lol)!
I've been to this restaurant so many times that I've lost count..‼︎ Before studying abroad, and even during my time studying abroad, when eating in Myeongdong with Korean friends, we often came here (lol). And they would invite me too... lol! That's how much this restaurant is loved by locals.

The menu is simple, with Kalguksu, Mandu, Bibim Guksu, and in the summer, Kong Guksu (cold soy milk noodles) is available every year. I ordered the almost classic Kalguksu and Mandu. It's easy to go alone, and there are quite a few solo customers, making it one of the recommended reasons to visit.

The system is to decide on and pay for the order in advance, and once you pay, the dishes come out pretty quickly. Kalguksu is 10,000W, and Mandu is 11,000W. Mandu comes in a pack of 10.
Kalguksu has a considerable amount, so when you're alone, one bowl is enough to fill you up! However, if you still feel unsatisfied, you can actually get a free refill of noodles.

And rice is also free! When you tell the auntie 'rice please', she will bring you rice in a small bowl. It's also delicious to put the rice in this soup and eat it, so please give it a try..!

One thing to be careful about here is the kimchi. It's quite spicy with a strong punch of heat, to the point where some people say it's 'too spicy and not to their liking'. Unlike the aged kimchi served in regular Korean restaurants, the kimchi here is freshly pickled on the same day. As a result, it has a strong garlic flavor and intense spiciness - both the taste and aroma are amazing (laughs). Personally, I love this kimchi, but it would be great if there were others who feel the same!

By the way, Mandu is also full of leeks and garlic like kimchi, and the smell of garlic is amazing, but this one is not spicy at all so it's okay for those who don't like spicy food! The dumplings, packed with juicy meat filling inside a thin skin, have a satisfying taste in each bite and are delicious enough to be eaten quickly.

I've tried bibinbap, but this one is definitely spicy, so I recommend it for those who like spicy food.

The green noodles are distinctive, but the noodles themselves have no flavor. Cucumber and ground meat, radish and yangnyeom are included, giving a refreshing yet hearty impression. Recommended when you want to eat something light or in the summer.

When I went there the other day, even the delivery robot was deployed, truly the Myeongdong Dumplings, making good money~ I thought so, haha! In Japan, they are gradually expanding into family restaurants and such, but I haven't seen this delivery robot much in Korea yet...!?

At the entrance, the Michelin award records were beautifully displayed. Has it been awarded for 7 consecutive years so far..? Amazing..!! It's quite rare to be able to enjoy Michelin gourmet food at a tourist spot at this price, and sometimes without having to wait in line.
It's easy to get in even if you're alone, and still popular with local Koreans, Myeongdong dumplings. It may be thought of as 'beginner-friendly!?' because it's a regular in tourist guidebooks, but it's a highly recommended store for Korean beginners, veteran travelers to Korea, and Korea experts!
