Arrived early at the Gate of Supreme Harmony, ready to enter the palace, the honor guard has already come out to greet us.

Be sure to follow the Creatrip website, haha, there are often some great Korean experience activities on it. Don't believe it? Look at the experience below.
Deoksugung, in the center of Seoul, South Korea, is one of the most important palaces in South Korea, it is the palace of the Joseon Dynasty, may not be as famous to tourists around the world as Gyeongbokgung, actually I was not very familiar before coming to South Korea, but this visit really left a very good surprise, really grateful for this opportunity.

Very lucky to have signed up for the 2024 Changde Palace Moonlight Tour, the night always brings a mysterious color to the palace, or adds a layer of color to its history, making the palace more mysterious, adding a romantic color to the thrilling stories that happened in the palace, allowing us to better understand that era.

After gathering at Donghuamen, everything was guided by the staff. The tour guide was very responsible, and the guides were also very enthusiastic, always helping us take pictures. Haha, the Koreans really have amazing photography skills.
Gave each of us a lantern, and the atmosphere was immediately filled. As it was a night light tour, when entering the palace, the accompanying gradually darkened, and the colors changed a lot. Mainly, do you understand? The whole palace was just our group, that quiet beauty, really feels very different from daytime, with a strong sense of ceremony.

Follow our guide as we stroll through the palace and gardens of Deoksugung Palace, I was impressed by its magnificent scenery. Not only did I feel the majesty of the palace at night, I felt a wonderful sense of harmony with nature.

Seeing the royal guard escorting the king and queen, very majestic, the feeling under the lights, really felt like stepping into a Korean drama.

After visiting the Summer Palace, it was amazing. In this garden, I feel like I can sense the majesty and grandeur of ancient emperors, who used gardens to express their ruling ideas and aesthetic taste, creating a unique royal garden style. At night, the pavilion, a solo performance, truly embodies the essence of traditional culture, allowing people to fully experience it and escape the hustle and bustle of the day.

At Deoksugung Palace, we were very lucky to see a performance on the guqin. I used to not appreciate the beauty of ancient musical instruments, but for the first time in a quiet garden surrounded by the sounds and scents of nature, as the night grew darker, the traditional instrument at that moment exuded a special kind of beauty, very spacious. This cultural experience not only allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the beauty of Korean traditional culture and etiquette, but also let me feel the lifestyle and mindset of ancient Korean royalty. In addition to the cultural experience, the organizers prepared a small snack, a traditional pastry, and a drink for each of us, on a slightly chilly summer night, making us feel warm inside. In this performance, various special instruments were used, such as the xiao, zheng, and drum, expressing different emotions and moods. The sound of these instruments seemed to transcend time and space, allowing people to feel the profound cultural heritage.

Next, I was amazed by the dance and performance in traditional Korean music performances. The dance moves were not intense, but rather very soothing, using performance to showcase Korea's traditional stories and legends, making one feel as if they were in the glorious era of ancient Korea. In our group, there were people who spoke Russian, Spanish, but they all let out gasps of admiration at different points during the dance, showing that art truly knows no boundaries. The guide said that we were experiencing a dance similar to what the royals did in the past, although I'm not sure if it was exactly the same, but I believe that the feeling at that moment, the feeling of people today and people of ancient times, is the same.

A day spent at Deoksugung Palace, experiencing the glorious culture and rich history of ancient Korea. Really hope that more people come to Seoul and do not miss this royal garden, allowing modern people to find peace amidst the hustle and bustle. I believe that the travel experience at Deoksugung Palace will definitely not disappoint you.
Hope everyone can pay more attention toCreatrip, participate in more experiential activities in the future, let us feel the unique charm of Korean culture, and let me cherish and respect this cultural tradition even more.
