When it comes to souvenirs, it doesn’t get much cooler than crafting your own custom Nike gear. And guess what? You can do just that at the Nike Myeongdong store!
But before you dive in, here’s a step-by-step guide to ensure you get the most out of your experience.
Address:Â Nike Seoul (Myeongdong)
14, Myeongdong-gil, Jung-gu
Seoul, 서울특별시, 04536, KR
Here’s how:
1. Plan Your Visit Early:
Head to the Nike Myeongdong store early in the day, as tickets are released from 10 am. Keep in mind that there are only 100 tickets distributed daily, and queues tend to form from as early as 8 am!
Each ticket allows entry for two people, so grab a friend and get there early to secure your spot.
2. Choose Your Time Slot:
Once it’s your turn, choose your preferred time slot based on the availability of time slots.

During my visit on a weekday, I swung by at about 10:30 am and opted for the 6 pm slot, so I’d have plenty of time to shop around Myeongdong before returning.
Just a heads up, though — some patch designs or smaller sizes may run out if you come later in the day.
3. Show Up for Your Time Slot:
Return to the store during your selected time slot and show your ticket.
Be prepared to queue if the previous visitors are still wrapping up their customization session. It really does take quite a while to decide on what you want!
At about 6:15 pm, all the sweatshirts and most of the hoodie sizes were already sold out. But again, my intention was to just go for the experience so I was fine with it.

4. Get Creative:
Once you’re settled at your station, you’ll have around 30 minutes to decide on your custom design. It’s fun yet stressful because everything looks so cute!

Prices during my visit in late March 2024 were approximately:
• Caps: 25,000 KRW
• T-shirts: 35,000 KRW
• Hoodies: 80,000 KRW
*as the sweat shirts were already sold out for the day, the staff didn’t mention the price. Very sad. I would have loved to have a custom sweat shirt!
• Patches, stickers: about 4,000-5,000 KRW for smaller ones, and 13,000 KRW for larger ones.
5. Select Your Items and Design:
Choose your base items and let the staff know your preferences for the patches and stickers based on the samples.
They’ll help you get the patches and stickers you want to add to your gear. Keep in mind that only patches can be added to the caps, not stickers.

6. Let Your Creativity Flow:
Once you have all your materials, it’s time to let your creativity run wild!
Decide where you want each patch and sticker to go, and have fun securing them with the provided tape. Trust me, the possibilities are endless!

I wanted a minimalist design though, so I didn’t go too wild with my shirts.
7. Finalize Your Order:
After you’ve perfected your design, the staff will tally up the cost, and you’ll pay for everything upfront. Then, sit back and relax while they prepare your customized items.

They’ll let you know when your gear is ready for collection, which was after about 40 minutes in my case.
8. Collect Your Customized Souvenirs:
Once your items are ready, swing back to the store to collect your goods. Remember, you can only pick them up on the same day, so plan your schedule accordingly and return before the store closes.
Crafting your own Nike By You souvenir at the Myeongdong store is an experience you won’t soon forget. So, gather your creativity, head to the store early, and get ready to design the ultimate memento of your Seoul trip!
