If you are a beginner to painting or enjoy painting as a hobby, then this is the perfect place to go! The teacher here helps you with everything from choosing the colors to textures to painting techniques so you won't feel intimidated at all!
We went to this painting class in Mangwon-do called ģ ģģķģ¤ė“ė¤ as a group of 5, and it cost us 30,000 won each. We could each bring some references on what we like to draw, and if not, we could choose from the folder they give us! The painting shop was so cute and cozy! You could even order drinks. I chose my favorite character and also chose a sky reference that was available at the class. You get to borrow an apron, arm protector and even berets!!
I started with first outlining the character and then slowly started to colour the base in. Every single step, she guided us patiently! After the colours were set, I slowly drew the outline of the character and the finer details. It was so fun, and she helped pick out the perfect colors for it. If you also wanted to change the colours or make it brighter or darker, she helped you with it.
The whole experience was so lovely and calm, and she would help us with everything. Normally, you get 2 hours, but she gave us an extra hour because we were taking too long! She was so lovely and very talented. Afterwards, we all took pictures and videos of our creation!
I really recommend this for anyone who likes to paint or even those who just wants to experience a fun activity in Seoul!
