We wanted to go to Lotte World Adventure during our trip to Seoul, since it’s a must-see spot in Korean dramas. It was great to be able to visit this amusement park. There were quite a lot of people, but we were still able to enjoy some rides. There’s something for everyone here, with family-friendly attractions as well as more thrilling ones. We also used the photo booths to keep as souvenirs. You should know that there’s quite a lot of information in English, whether for menus or activities, but the information about the rides is in Korean. The indoor area is really huge and very well air-conditioned, when you arrive it’s hot, but after a while it got cold and a cardigan came in handy. For the outdoor area, it’s best to go on nice days, most of the thrill rides are outside, with fairly long waiting times.

As for the museum, it was really interesting, and it gave us a nice break from the rides. The history of Korea and how it has evolved is fascinating, the palace replicas were wonderful to see, and they really help you grasp the scale of the buildings. The costume replicas were very interesting too, and helped us understand the hierarchy among the aristocrats and the royal couple. There were also activities you could try yourself, like certain games, and we could also see tools that were used for torture methods.

The souvenir shop was beautiful, with very lovely items like chopsticks, plates and cups, paintings, jewelry boxes, and other things. There was also a painter doing really beautiful artwork, who offered to write your name in lovely calligraphy.
