Korea is food heaven!

Of all the places I’ve been (at least 30 countries), Korea has served the best food. And it’s not even close! It’s possible China is similar, but I really couldn’t experience the food there because we just didn’t understand anything. I found it difficult to order food there with the language barrier. Korea is much easier.
I don’t know how these people stay so slim - could only be explained by the fermented vegetables and the bone broth. Maybe the chilli. I don’t know, because it doesn’t seem particularly healthy. And the servings are massive.
Eggs! They love eggs as much as I do. People order boiled eggs at restaurants. The steamed eggs were probably my number 1 favourite. Eggbread? Omg!
Here are a few pictures and they just don’t do it justice. It’s basically just meat in a broth with vegetables. But every single bite is delectable.
Then there are desserts! Salt bread! And the cream cakes! I can’t even explain. Just so light and fluffy. Not that sweet. I must admit, the only thing I can’t do is the iced coffee. The drinks are too sweet - even when you’re ordering normal cappuccino, it tastes sweet. Also, don’t drink the mugwort latte - it’s nasty! Drinks, in general, have actually just been too sweet
And then, of course, when you missed dinner or too lazy to go out, convenience store dinners are perfectly lovely too! There are also some restaurants that serve single Korean BBQ, which is great for solo travellers - especially when your appetite isn’t as big.
There’s never been a time in my life I wished I could eat more! That I wished for a bigger stomach! I know every time when I come back to this memory, I’m going to salivate. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
