Hello! In early September, I made a visit to Korea House Kohojae (한국의집 고호재). Early September in Korea is still quite summer-like, so this is a great indoor activity if you'd like to escape the outdoors.
Korea House is located in Jung-gu, very close to Chungmuro Station (충무로역). If you take Line 4 to Chungmuro Station, it's a very short (but uphill) walk from Exit 3.

Just walk for a minute or two from Exit 3!
It's a large and very beautiful hanok setting, so you will be able to find it easily!

When I arrived with my travel partner, we were a bit confused about where to enter. You can actually just enter through the big doors in front, and there will be a check-in desk right there. We arrived a few minutes late, but the workers were so kind and accommodating. We were quickly led to our seats and they set up our table once we arrived.

Tea for two!
Because it was early September, we were treated to the Summer Menu, which included a refreshing yuzu tea, and a red bean bingsu dessert (which we reserved separately). There's a great variety of small traditional snacks that change per season. I'd be curious to visit during a different season and try the seasonal treats.
If I had to choose a favorite, I would choose the 개성주악, which is somewhat like a sweet, fried donut-like dessert that resembles a tangerine. I thought it was quite cute! My travel partner loved the sugared strawberry and kiwi fruit. There was a good mix of both sweet and less-sweet desserts, so the flavors didn't become overwhelming.

The setting is very beautiful, so it's a great place to chill and take pictures while slowly enjoying traditional treats! There's also a very cool gift shop nearby if you want to pick up some souvenirs. I would definitely recommend reserving a spot if you're into tea, or traditional architechture and design.
