A Little Self-Care in Korea: My Experience at WHIPPED

One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering experiences that allow me to do something different, learn something new, and bring home memories beyond the usual sightseeing. During my visit to Korea, I had the opportunity to visit WHIPPED, and let me tell you… this was such a fun little self-care experience!
If you love skincare, beauty, shopping, or simply trying something unique while traveling, add this one to your Korea itinerary!

What made this experience special was getting to create my own facial cleansers. Instead of simply walking into a store, picking up a product, and heading to the checkout, I got to participate in the process and make something myself. There is something satisfying about creating your own skincare products and knowing you have a little souvenir to take home that you made with your own hands.
But it wasn’t just about making cleansers. I also had the opportunity to learn more about skincare, understand products a little better, and explore ways to be more intentional about caring for my skin. Sometimes we spend so much time buying beauty products because they’re trending or because everyone else is using them that we forget to take the time to learn what works for us.

And of course… what’s a beauty experience without a little shopping? 🛍️
I enjoyed browsing the products, exploring the space, and taking in the overall experience. Korea is known for its beauty and skincare culture, so getting to experience a small part of that firsthand made the visit even more enjoyable.

What I appreciated most was that this wasn’t just another shopping stop. It was an activity. It was an opportunity to learn, create, explore, and enjoy a little time doing something for myself.
That’s one of the things I love most about traveling. It’s not always about visiting the biggest attractions or checking off famous landmarks. Sometimes, the best memories come from the little experiences you stumble upon along the way.
