The Formulas to Finding Idol Birthday Events in Korea

If you ever find yourself in Korea around the time of your favorite idol's birthday, I highly recommend you check out a birthday event! These are fan-hosted events, each with its unique concepts and gifts you can receive! I also think it's a great way to connect and experience your fandom community as you all gather to celebrate.
But it can be difficult to find them without knowing where to start, so I'm going to give you a brief rundown on how to look for them! These are my go-to keywords and search phrases when I look for birthday events.
Please note that this will require writing in Hangul, but that easily be done with the help of Google Translate/Papago! I will also be writing them in the article so you may copy and paste them.
You'll first start by utilizing the platform X(formerly known as Twitter) for your search. For the most basic and general search, you will use:
1. Idol name in Hangul + 생일 카페 생일 이벤트
So for example, if we were to use one for ATEEZ's Yunho's birthday we would search:
Ex. 윤호 생일 카페 / 윤호 생일 이벤트
= Yunho Birthday Cafe / Yunho Birthday Event
Another way to look up for birthday cafes is to also use:
2. Idol name in Hangul + 생카
This also means birthday cafe but is just an abbreviated version of it.

These will give you fan-made threads of birthday cafes and events! It makes searching so much easier~

기본 특전: regular gifts/benefits (gifts given by purchasing a drink)
