One-night, two-day bullet trip to Busan
Noacoo
Departing from Fukuoka, I went to Busan for the first time in three years on a quick 1-night, 2-day trip!
This time, at the request of a friend who’s leaving Kyushu and moving to the Kanto area, we did a lightning trip!
When you live in Kyushu, Korea feels like it’s right next door, but from the Kanto area, Korea apparently ends up feeling like a very faraway foreign country, so we managed to squeeze in this trip somehow.
After looking into it, flights are expensive, it takes time, and it seems like it’s not that easy to just pop over.
I’ve mostly been going to Seoul lately, so for me it’s been about three years since I last visited Busan.
Plan for this trip
- Day 1 -
Arrive in Busan at 10:00 on one of the earliest morning flights
Eat seafood at Jagalchi Market
Shopping at a department store
Beauty splurge for my first ever skin treatment
Dinner
Shopping
Stay at a hotel near Seomyeon Station
- Day 2 -
Morning cafe
Free time (my friend gets eyebrow microblading, I get a K-pop idol-style? makeup)
Haeundae
Head to the airport
Fly home on the 18:00 flight
This time, the seafood at the market was an absolute hit!
Specifically, octopus sashimi, Ganjang Gejang, sea urchin topped with Korean seaweed, and rice. It was a luxurious lunch at about 5,000 yen per person, but we were beyond satisfied!

It seems that even though the staff differs by shop, the menu and prices are exactly the same. We chose a bright place by the window.
We went in around 11:30, and more and more customers kept coming in, it felt like most people were eating hot pot.
We were planning to have nattipokke for dinner, so we fully enjoyed sashimi and other raw dishes.
Since we were planning to go to a dermatology clinic for skin treatment later, we sadly held off on alcohol.
Above all, the staff were so kind, they had everything set up before we even had to ask, and on our way out, they even told us where the restroom was before we asked ^_^
Shopping at a department store.
We went to Lotte Department Store and bought a ring from a brand I had my eye on. I’d heard prices were going up starting the day after next, so since they had my size and the color I wanted, I saved about 30,000 yen! (I’m glad I properly managed the duty-free process at the airport)
Finally, the skin treatment I’d been dreaming of
This time, we booked a clinic where you can make a reservation in Japanese via LINE.
It’s what you might call a “factory-style” clinic, you talk things through with a counselor (Japanese), then after that it’s more like an efficient, step-by-step process where they carry out the treatments.
Since it was my first time, I skipped the injection-type options and tried pore-cleansing treatments, lifting treatments, and things that strengthen the foundation of your skin.
Right after, my face line was so snatched! My face looked smaller. I was super satisfied! I can see myself getting hooked.
Meanwhile, my friend got moles removed and tried her first firming injections. But it hurt so, so much, she cried so hard she couldn’t stop and said she never wants injections again!! She mentioned maybe the numbing time was too short, but... I also thought I never want to do that in the future.
For dinner, we went to a famous nattipokke spot near Seomyeon Station.

Reliably delicious, as always. The owner auntie was so kind. You can get by in Japanese with her, too. With full stomachs, we went shopping in the evening streets. We hopped between three Olive Young stores, comparing as we shopped. We discovered that Olive Young has totally different lineups depending on the store, plus different recommended items and sometimes even different prices.
Feeling the vibe of Seomyeon Station, a youth-filled neighborhood that stays lively even at night, we had dessert and wrapped up day one, getting ready for the next day.

Day 2 will continue next time♪
