Luxurious SPA in Seoul - Aquafield Hanam

I discovered the BEST way possible to spend first day in Korea - it’s jimjilbang. After long flight and exhausting journey, there is no better way to prepare for exploring than recharging in SPA that offers so many various relaxation options 💆🏻♀️

The SPA I went to was in Hanam, and from my accommodation in Gangnam it took about 1 hour to get to. There is also the same Aquafield SPA in Goyang, so you can check which one is closer!
It’s actually located in a nice mall, on the third floor. Once I found it, I was greeted by kind workers who helped me purchase a pass. They were kind enough to tell me that it might be cheaper to get it online through website like Klook - and that’s what I did right away. The worker was correct, I paid about 50% less! I couldn’t thank her enough. The QR code was issued right away, and I went in.
Despite it being my first time in such place, I felt very comfortable because staff guided me in English whenever I was confused.

I had the most amazing first day at the Aquafield SPA. The interior was stunning and very modern. The flower arrangements looked fantastic!
I used a relaxation room with aromatherapy, where scented clouds would gently cover my face.
I also rested in a room, where nature sounds were projected along with nature videos.

There were also actual saunas, that were very hot - one reaching almost 80 degrees! I had two brief sessions in there, as it would be dangerous to stay too long.
There was also an outdoor feet spa, where I could soak my feet in warm water while enjoying a mountain landscape. I loved every single minute of it.

As for the food, I had some bulgogi soup at their cafeteria which was extremely delicious. What I loved the most was of course the view 🏔️

After hot sauna sessions, I sipped on some sikhye - sweet rice korean drink, which I more or less enjoyed (it tasted a bit strange to me, but I’m always glad to try new Korean foods or drinks).
I finished the day very relaxed and recovered after my tough journey to Korea. I plan to go back there soon, definitely before my departure! I highly recommend visiting Aquafield ☺️
