On this trip to Seoul, I decided to try a medical aesthetics treatment. After doing lots of online research and comparing different clinics, I finally chose Project U Clinic.
For this visit, I got hyaluronic acid filler injected at the base of my nose (the nasolabial area).
✨ A few things I really liked about my experience:
The treatment was performed personally by the clinic director.
Very foreigner-friendly, with staff who can communicate in Chinese and English.
The staff were incredibly kind, gentle, and attentive.
The clinic was clean, comfortable, and well-organized.
No pushy sales or unnecessary treatment recommendations.
The clinic is located at Hongik Univ. Station Exit 8, just walk out and it’s about a 3-minute walk. You’ll see the building with a Kakao Friends Store, super convenient.
Each patient has a private treatment room.
Before the treatment, they first cleansed my skin and did a skin analysis to check my skin condition. Then we had a consultation to talk through my concerns and decide on the treatment plan.
The clinic has staff who can communicate in Chinese or English. They also have a dedicated consultation manager who speaks Chinese. Since I’m from Taiwan, I was able to do my consultation in Chinese, which made the whole process much easier and more comfortable.
I really appreciated how welcoming they were to international visitors. The entire experience felt very comfortable, and I never felt pressured to purchase additional treatments.
The clinic director was also very kind and gentle. Before the procedure, they applied numbing cream, so there was very little discomfort during the injections.
During the procedure, the director explained what she was doing step by step, and the Chinese-speaking staff helped translate everything for me, which I really appreciated.
Before opening the filler, they also showed me the exact product and the amount in cc to confirm it before the injection.
One of the cutest details was that they gave me a small plush toy to hold during the procedure.
They also carefully checked whether I had any drug allergies and asked the clinic director to confirm which medications were suitable for me, including anything prescribed for post-treatment swelling and pain relief. (You need to pick up the medicine at a nearby pharmacy.)
Overall, I had a really comfortable experience at Project U Clinic. The clinic was clean and relaxing, and everyone I met was incredibly kind and gentle.
I would definitely consider coming back to try other treatments next time!
