K-World Dream Awards - My 2023 & 2025 Experience

Recently, Creatrip added tickets for 2026 K-World Dream Awards, therefore I decided to share my experience, as I had the pleasure to attend those concerts during two of my trips to Korea and I'm very familiar with the process :)

In 2023, I had no issue arriving at the venue - with Naver it was easy to find and go to, especially with crowds heading in the same direction which can be recognized by huge amounts of K-pop merch. While walking to the venue, I came across CU so I bought a small meal there to not be hungry during the concert. The convenience store was also filled with fans, but there was enough space for everyone. It's great to know you can fuel up before such experience right by the venue!

I received instructions from Creatrip on how to pick up my ticket in advance and it was easy to follow. After confirming my identity with my passport, I received the ticket and was ready to head inside.
The seats had chairs which I was grateful for since I don't enjoy standing, but I will get back to that later. My seat wasn't the best out there, but more than good enough - I believe it was 3rd row from the stage.
We had to wait for a while for the Awards to begin. All the artists would perform around two or three songs, with MC breaks in between.

The atmosphere was quite pleasant, people usually remained in their seats. Everyone was most excited for Stray Kids who performed last, so when they came out, everyone got up or ran to the bareers.
As a sensitive person I cry whenever I'm very happy, so Stray Kids coming close to greet us and wave at us made me cry, and I got approached by sweet fans seated nearby, so that was very sweet and made the whole experience even better for me.

As for 2025, the experience was completely different!
I picked up my ticket in the designated Creatrip booth - I just had to show the passport and I was good to go. Once again, the whole process was very easy with the instructions I received by email.

I had to line up according to the number of my ticket, because it was a standing ticket. My number was 531... the whole process took a while, but eventually I made it inside. Everyone was running to the stage to have the best spot (of course). With my number, I was surprisingly close, but not close enough. I'm also short, so that was another problem. But, I waited for an hour or two and the Awards have finally started!
I got to see Stray Kids, IVE, LE SSERAFIM and other popular groups all together! It was an amazing opportunity. At first, I had to stand on my toes to see well. But the crowd was a little problematic - we were squeezed together, and sometimes it would start moving so much that I wasn't even touching the ground. That way, I got magically pushed to the stage. I have no idea how that happened, but yes, from being in the middle, I got pushed by the crowd straight to bareers, which allowed me to see the performance of my favorite group, Stray Kids, very very close!

That night was wonderful and also exhausting. I'm beyond grateful and I think seeing all of my favorite groups at the same time was worth it. However, I was all sweaty, extremely in pain and exhausted after that I could barely walk. Outside I noticed ambulances who were taking care of some attendees that needed medical help.
To sum everything up - K-World Awards are amazing shows which are a must-go if you like the line-up! You will be able to see your favorite artists closely and enjoy the variety, rather than going to a concert of only one group. However, I recommend choosing seated tickets to enjoy the show comfortably. If you care to see your bias as close as possible, go for the standing option, but ensure that your health condition allows you to do that :)
