The three of us went to ROLLING JAY to get our makeup and hair done for another friend’s wedding. To sum it up, it was a highly satisfying experience, it’s the kind of salon that makes you think, “I’d definitely come back again when I have another special occasion.”
Since we booked for three people at the same time, I was a little curious about how long it would take, but in reality the staff worked so efficiently that everything went even more smoothly than I expected. The setup is makeup on the 1st floor and hair styling on the 2nd floor, and you can tell the flow has been well thought out. After checking in, we were guided one by one, and everything moved along without any wasted waiting time.
We started with makeup on the 1st floor. The staff were quick, but still finished each step carefully. They listened properly to what we wanted, and at the same time adjusted the makeup in a well-balanced way to suit our features and overall vibe, so I could relax and leave it in their hands.
What made me especially happy was how beautifully they shaped my eyebrows. When I do them myself, I worry about them being uneven or I just can’t get the shape I want, so having a professional fix them made my whole face look so much more polished. I don’t usually pay that much attention to my brows, but it really hit me again how much a single detail can change your overall look. I was genuinely grateful for how thoughtfully they paid attention even to the smallest parts.
After the makeup was done, we moved up to the 2nd floor for hair styling. Because the work is divided by floor, the overall process feels very smooth. The hair styling was fast but careful, and I could tell they were also thinking about making it last and not fall apart easily. The moment I saw the finished style in the mirror, it looked so great I couldn’t help but smile.
The staff worked briskly, but the atmosphere never felt rushed, they stayed calm and attentive the whole time, which really stood out. They naturally guided us through what would happen next, so there was no moment of uncertainty. At popular places, things can sometimes feel like an assembly line, but here it felt like they truly took care of each person properly while doing the service.
Even though we booked for three people, it took just under an hour and a half to finish both makeup and hair for everyone. Considering the number of people, it was impressively smooth. It seems like a great option before plans with a set schedule, like events, weddings, concerts, or fan activities. Not having to worry about “Will we finish on time?” felt like a huge plus.
The salon’s atmosphere was also wonderful. The interior is mainly white, clean, and very stylish. It feels bright and open, so it’s comfortable, and it was the perfect place to get ready for a special day. The mirrors and decor were refined too, and it really felt like a photogenic space, which also left a strong impression. In beauty salons, not only the skill but also the atmosphere matters, and in that sense too, I was very satisfied.
I was also impressed by how well the staff coordinated with each other. Things like when to move, who would take over next, everything flowed smoothly, and you could tell the whole salon was working as a team. Thanks to that, there was very little waiting time, and we were able to spend the entire time without any stress.
The finished makeup and hair were a hit with my friends too, it turned out so nicely that it made me want to take tons of photos. Of course, the result was much more polished than getting ready by myself, and it really reminded me that I’m glad I left it to professionals.
What felt especially great about using the salon this time was how well balanced these four points were, “speed,” “finish,” “service,” and “atmosphere.” Some places are outstanding in just one area, but I feel like it’s rare to find a salon where you can be this satisfied overall. I’d especially recommend it for groups, or for anyone who wants to get ready within a limited time.
