Near Seoul there is a wonderful place, a hidden gem - Yulbom Botanical Garden, a 'Rural Art Theme Farm.'

Located in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, just outside of Seoul, Yulbom Botanical Garden is a large garden-style farm and rural art-themed park where you can enjoy both beautiful nature and hands-on experiences.
This isn’t just a place for growing and harvesting crops, it’s an agricultural tourism destination designed to showcase the beauty of farming, offering visitors a relaxing space surrounded by scenic nature.
Right at the entrance to the park there is a stand with products grown here, which can be purchased at a good price. The store itself with the products is located near the park exit.

As the vibrant green season arrives, many seek outdoor spaces to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and rejuvenate their spirits. The garden is currently attracting visitors with its blooming hydrangeas, heralding the onset of early summer.

The garden covers about 33,000 square meters of outdoor botanical gardens and an additional 33,000 square meters of farmland for crop cultivation.
Besides the beautiful nature, there are many traditional-style themed areas around the area. It looks absolutely beautiful!

This venue offers more than just flower viewing; it is a multifaceted healing spot where nature and rural culture harmoniously blend.
A full stroll takes about 30 minutes to an hour, with benches and resting spots throughout, great for a peaceful break.
Upon reaching the hillside garden, visitors will find the main event area, adorned with a lush green lawn and golden barley fields.

The park also has a small greenhouse with tropical and desert plants. Flowering plants are especially beautiful!

The park offers numerous walking paths through greenery and trees, with beautiful statues and gazebos. It's especially pleasant to stroll here on a hot day.

While strolling among the shady trees, you can discover an ancient funerary altar belonging to the family that has owned this land since ancient times. This ancient monument blends remarkably well with the surrounding tranquil nature.

The park is always crowded, but if you want, you can turn off the main paths and walk almost alone, admiring the beauty of nature and the surrounding mountains.

A hidden gem of the park is the birch grove located next to the pond. The babbling water and beautiful trees create a wonderful experience.

The park's grounds are so vast and diverse that everyone will find a favourite spot. I really enjoyed the pond and stream, which provided a cool spot in the heat.

Charming photo zones shaped like houses are scattered throughout, making it a popular spot for couples to capture memories.

In addition, the second garden features an impressive hydrangea tunnel created using pot cultivation methods. Walking beneath the vibrant flowers feels like stepping into a fairy tale, complemented by large animal sculptures like elephants and giraffes that add to the whimsical experience.

At the end of the park, there's a small zoo with domestic birds and animals. You can buy food and feed them. Kids will especially love it!

With its picturesque white birch paths and clusters of delicate white hydrangeas, the garden is highly recommended as a weekend wellness destination for families. Whether you come alone, with friends, or with family, you’re sure to make warm and lasting memories.
