On this trip to Busan, one of the things I was most excited about was visiting SPA LAND to experience Korea’s famous jjimjilbang culture. I’d seen so many people recommend this place before, saying not only is the environment upscale, but the facilities are also very complete, so I set aside half a day just for this. I was hoping to fully relax and recharge for the rest of the trip.
As soon as I stepped inside, my first impression was how clean and bright everything was, with a really calming vibe throughout. From checking in at the counter, changing clothes, to entering the facilities, every step was smooth and well organized. The staff were also very friendly, so even if it’s your first time trying a Korean jjimjilbang, you won’t feel lost. The signs are clear, and every area is well maintained, so you can relax and enjoy each facility with peace of mind.
The changing room is spacious, and the lockers have plenty of room, so it’s easy to store your luggage, coat, and personal items. The shower area is very clean and well stocked with amenities, which really shows how much attention they pay to the details. Before properly starting, I took a comfortable shower first, then slowly made my way to the different themed jjimjilbang rooms, it felt like a whole relaxing ritual.
The biggest draw of SPA LAND is the variety of jjimjilbang rooms, each with different temperatures and unique features, and every room has its own design and atmosphere. Some are hotter, letting you ease into a good sweat and feel your whole body unwind, while others are gentler and perfect if you want to adjust gradually. Each space has its own scent and character, so every visit feels a little different and never boring.

Besides the jjimjilbang rooms, I also spent time in the relaxation areas. The space is very comfortable, with lots of lounge chairs, a game area, and places to sit back and rest. Many people quietly relax, scroll on their phones, or take a quick nap, the overall atmosphere is really laid back. Even with quite a few visitors, it doesn’t feel noisy at all, and you can truly enjoy your own downtime.

I also really liked the bath area and the little fish zone. There are baths at different temperatures, so you can choose based on your preference, and after soaking, my body felt noticeably lighter. After walking for several days in a row while traveling, my legs had built up a lot of fatigue. Once I relaxed slowly in the warm water, the tightness in my muscles eased up a lot, which made the rest of the trip much more comfortable. The fish spa costs an extra 5,000 Korean won, and it helps remove dead skin, it’s worth trying.

There’s also a dining area inside, so when you’re tired from walking around, you can order something simple to eat or drink and recharge. Sitting in the lounge area and enjoying it slowly, while chatting with friends about the day’s highlights, makes the whole pace feel unhurried. This isn’t like typical tourist spots where you’re constantly rushing from place to place, it’s a space where you can truly slow down and savor a moment of your trip. This pork neck soup and rice was 12,000 Korean won, with a rich broth that’s great for anyone who likes bold flavors.

What impressed me most was how much care you can feel in everything, from cleanliness and facility maintenance to service quality. Even when there are lots of people, staff continue tidying up the public areas, keeping the floors clean and the equipment in good condition, so the overall experience is very comfortable.
I highly recommend fitting SPA LAND into the middle of your trip or on your last day. Especially after walking a lot around Busan and taking plenty of transportation, spending a few hours here soaking, sweating it out, and resting really helps melt away fatigue and relax both body and mind. If the weather is cold, you’ll appreciate the warmth of the baths and jjimjilbang even more. It’s a cultural experience that feels distinctly Korean.
Overall, my experience at SPA LAND in Busan exceeded my expectations. This isn’t just a jjimjilbang, it feels more like a restful space where you can slow down and take care of yourself. The clean and comfortable environment, well equipped facilities, relaxing atmosphere, and convenient location all left a deep impression on me. Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or with family, it’s a great place to spend a few leisurely hours. Next time I come back to Busan, I’ll definitely visit again, and I’d recommend it to friends who want to experience Korean jjimjilbang culture. I’m sure most people can find their own way to unwind here and leave with wonderful travel memories.
