March is the season of cherry blossoms and celebrations in Korea.

People can't wait to go on a cherry blossom trip!

In 2023, we suddenly decided to buy airline tickets to enjoy the cherry blossom season in Seoul.

After previewing the crowds at the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival in Seoul, we decided to take a walk to Yangjaecheon in Seoul to enjoy the cherry blossoms.

I saw cherry blossoms online on the riverside road of Yangjaecheon in Seoul, and they were so beautiful!

From Yangjaecheon Cherry Blossom Road, take the Shinbundang Line (Red S Line) subway (D09) and get off at Yangjae Citizen’s Forest Station.

As soon as you come out of exit 1 of Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station, you can immediately see the riverside road with cherry blossoms in full bloom!

There are many shops and restaurants around exits 2 and 3, so after enjoying the cherry blossoms, we went to the other side and had a meal.

At Exit 3 of Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station, there is a lively main street lined with restaurants.

We found our favorite local porridge here and had it for lunch!

【Seoul Cherry Blossom Hidden Gems】

When you come out of exit 1 of Yangjae Citizen's Forest Station, a riverside road with cherry blossoms spreads out on both sides.

Yangjaecheon is a famous cherry blossom spot in Seoul.

If you come to Yangjaecheon, you can enjoy the cherry blossoms while taking a walk along the riverside road.

If you walk along Yangjaecheon, you will meet many Koreans walking or riding bicycles.

I think it is a place full of the atmosphere of Korean daily life.

I like Yangjae, which is full of such a sense of everyday life, better than the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival.

Walking along the riverside path below Yangjaecheon and looking at the cherry blossoms on both sides is another feeling.

This Noryangjin bridge is also one of the photo spots, and the Korean Netflix drama 'Doona!' was also filmed here.

The combination of white bridge, cherry blossoms, and riverbank is the best for taking pictures!

When we arrived at Yangjaecheon on April 3 last year, it was actually at the end of flowering.

So, in 2024, I decided to leave for Seoul about 3 days early to enjoy the cherry blossoms!

I hope to see more bright and beautiful cherry blossoms~
