Itaewon Class, very popular in Korean drama ✨
Watching dramas during the pandemic, and when it becomes possible to travel to Korea again, I definitely want to visit the filming locations 😆
And finally, when I went on a trip to South Korea, the scenery I saw in the drama was right in front of my eyes...✨
The pedestrian bridge where the main character, who appears many times in the drama, was staring at the Seoul Tower is Noksapyong Pedestrian Bridge, located right near Exit 3 of Noksapyong Station on Line 6 of the subway!!
And the store that appeared in the drama!
Actually operates as a restaurant, but it was closed when I visited... What a shame 😢
It is said that Itaewon Class was filmed in the accounting firm street and the open village located on the south side of Namsan Park in Itaewon!
This time, we only had time to visit famous bridges and shops, but there are many other locations featured in dramas scattered around, so next time, I would like to take more time to visit filming locations.
Additionally, the accounting association street that served as the location and the Open Village have become popular tourist destinations not only for locals, but also recently, especially the Open Village has become popular with young people, centered around the new market in the redevelopment project, with trendy cafes and shops increasing.
Exploring filming locations while enjoying a walk around the city sounds very nice!
Also in the Hannam-dong area of Itaewon, there are many popular Korean brand stores lining the streets.
A cute apparel brand with flower motifs, Mardi Mercredi, and body care products with soothing scents from NONFICTION. There is also the popular store GoldenPiece in the midst of the unprecedented medicine and confectionery boom, making it an enjoyable area for sightseeing ☺️
