I went on a 2 nights, 3 days trip to Korea with my fashion loving daughter and some super trend savvy coworkers, the perfect crew! Our mission was to conquer every latest trend in “beauty, shopping, food, and cafes.” This time, I’m sharing the real, fully enjoyed route we actually did. 📌 Day 1: Full beauty day in Gangnam, plus the trip highlight, yukhoe bibimbap We kicked off the trip by going all in on “beauty care” in the Gangnam area. The plan was to pack in treatments on day one by hopping between clinics, then spend the rest of the trip having fun to the max. I refreshed my skin with the mole removal I’d been curious about. Did quick, easy Botox and fillers for an instant mini glow up. Then headed to a brow semi permanent makeup salon so I’d look put together even barefaced. A moving “yukhoe bibimbap” that became our best memory Dinner after all that beauty work was our reward, we went to a famous spot known for its super fresh yukhoe. Honestly, the yukhoe bibimbap we ate together on this trip ended up being our number one memory!

The sauce, gently fragrant with sesame oil, was perfectly balanced, and the sweet yukhoe just melted in your mouth. The five of us were like, “It’s too good…!” and polished it all off. That time we all sat around the table saying, “I’m so glad we came to Korea,” was truly the best moment. 📌 Day 2: Popup hopping in Seongsu, plus the massively viral “CHAGEE” Day two was all about fully enjoying “Seongsu dong (Seongsu),” the hottest area in Seoul right now. Cafe and popup store hopping in Seongsu The whole neighborhood feels like art, my daughter and my coworkers couldn’t stop taking photos just walking around. We hopped through a few buzzworthy brand popups that were only open for a limited time. Then enjoyed cute sweets at a concept cafe with seriously stylish interiors. After Seongsu, we headed to the premium tea shop everyone’s talking about, “CHAGEE (Chagee)”

After lots of shopping and strolling in Seongsu, we moved on to CHAGEE (Chagee), which is explosively popular in Seoul. With IVE’s Wonyoung as their ambassador, and her praising it as the “milk tea of my life,” it’s been packed with long lines every day. Their signature jasmine milk tea has an elegant tea leaf aroma and a clean sweetness that soaks right into you after a day of walking! Dinner was the classic “Myeongdong Kyoja” At night we went over to Myeongdong and filled up on a Michelin regular favorite. The famous mandu (dumplings) bursting with juices, plus their special garlic punch kimchi, were as addictive and delicious as ever. 📌 Day 3: Morning bakery run in Anguk, then a huge shopping spree in Hongdae On the last day, we started by hopping between two ultra famous bakeries in Seoul that never seem to run out of lines. Fresh baked bread magic in Anguk In the Anguk area, where the traditional hanok streetscape is beautiful, we treated ourselves to the best breakfast. London Bagel Museum, the mega hit spot with an irresistible chewy texture.

And just nearby, its sister shop “Artist Bakery,” rumored for its incredible salt bread and baguettes.

Both places had such a chic European vibe, they left us full and happy in every way. Shopping in Hongdae right up until our flight!

To wrap up the trip, we headed to Hongdae, the youth district. We wandered streets where you can grab trendy clothes, accessories, and cosmetics at great prices. At the large offline store of MUSINSA, Korea’s biggest fashion platform, I checked out the latest Korean outfits with my daughter. Feeling the energy of the lively streets, we wrapped up an incredibly satisfying 2 nights, 3 days. Getting prettier with beauty treatments, eating amazing food, and shopping a ton… A Seoul trip with someone you love becomes the best kind of memory from every angle. I hope this helps you plan your next trip to Korea!
