Laser vision correction has been something I’ve really wanted to do lately.

Because I need it for sports, and also from wearing glasses long-term, my nose bridge and the area around my ears became seriously indented and uncomfortable. But in Taiwan, laser vision correction is relatively expensive,
so I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Then by chance, I saw an online info session on Creatrip.
After signing up, you can get a one-on-one consultation about having the procedure done in Korea.
The key point is that signing up doesn’t cost anything, and you can even get vouchers.
That made me think, why not learn more about it?

When it’s time, someone online will also remind you.
Once you enter the online meeting room, you can organize and ask a lot of questions.
For example, how to handle it if your schedule changes after you make an appointment locally,
or whether there’s full Chinese interpretation throughout.

Surgery recommendations, follow-up visits and recovery, even post-op recovery afterward and medication instructions,
plus precautions before and after surgery⚠️, every detail is explained clearly in the online meeting. It made me feel not scared about getting surgery in Korea, and actually excited. Most importantly, by booking through this online sign-up, you can also get more discounts and freebies.
This time, I was totally in it for the sunglasses and post-op meds, so I immediately booked my surgery for June.

I really recommend using this app to make your appointment, the discounts are even better.

In June, I took advantage of the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend and went to Korea as planned.
Once I arrived, I’m not exaggerating,
you could tell the hospital’s professionalism and credibility just by looking.
The place is huge, and many Korean celebrities have had surgery there too.
That morning, they also scheduled detailed exams.
The exam process took about 1.5 to 2 hours.
They determine which procedure suits you and explain the pros and cons.
After finishing the morning exams, you can have the surgery scheduled for the afternoon.

At noon, I went to eat somewhere nearby 🍴
and waited for the afternoon surgery.
During the exams and the surgery itself, a Chinese interpreter stayed with me the whole time.
There was absolutely no need to worry about language barriers.
The surgery took less than 10 minutes to finish.
There was no pain at all.
Afterward, I went back and slept for 4 to 5 hours.
By the evening, I was already about 70 to 80% recovered.
The next day at my follow-up, the doctor said my recovery was going well, basically about 90% recovered.
In the afternoon, I could follow the original plan, keep sightseeing and shopping with no problems.
Just use the medication as recommended and rest more, and you’ll recover quickly.
I’m so happy with this laser vision correction experience in Korea.
The director who operated on me was also happy to take a photo with me.
The price was a great deal, and there’s absolutely no need to worry about the technique.
Highly recommended.
Now I can finally ditch my glasses and see clearly again.

you’re welcome to grab a coffee with me, and I can slowly share the differences about getting surgery in Korea.
