It was my first trip to Korea and my first time going to a beauty clinic there, and I was really satisfied.
The Myeongdong Otena Clinic I used was on the upper floors of the Musinsa building, so it was easy to find. It was also close to the station and super convenient, and since it’s new, the inside was incredibly clean.
They also have Japanese-speaking staff on-site, so I was able to get a consultation without any worries.
There was absolutely no pushy sales or upselling, and instead they even gave advice like, “This isn’t something you need a clinic for, it’s better to improve it through daily habits like this.”
I actually got on the subway in the wrong direction and ended up about 20 minutes late, but they welcomed me kindly without showing any annoyance at all, I honestly almost cried.
I got Potenza, Vbeam, LDM, and Aqua Peel, and they discounted it to around ₩260,000, which felt unbelievably cheap compared to Japan, so I was able to get the treatments at an amazing price!
By the way, my mom got Pico Laser and LDM and seemed extremely happy. It turned into some nice “good daughter” time, I guess?
Right before the trip, we decided on a whim that my mom would also get a consultation, and we were able to ask about it and make a reservation through this app, which was a huge help.
For the treatments, the system was that the room and staff changed depending on the procedure. It felt like an efficient flow and went pretty quickly. Also, you do the cleansing yourself. The numbing cream is applied by the staff.
There’s Japanese-speaking staff during the consultation, but most of the treatment staff can’t speak Japanese, so I felt a little anxious at that moment. Still, everyone was incredibly kind.
To distract me from the pain of Potenza, they kept talking to me in English the whole time, and I felt each staff member was really thoughtful.
I definitely want to use this clinic again!!!
Also, I gathered info through this app and social media and was able to go to lots of places I wanted to visit. I fell in love with Korea.
