Lotte World - Seoul’s Iconic Adventure Park 🎠

Is there anyone who hasn’t heard of Lotte World Adventure? The "Seoul’s Disneyland" is frequently featured in K-pop shows, as well as videos of must-visit places in Seoul!
Since I was lucky enough to go there, I will write all about it.

My tickets were included in the Discover Seoul Pass, therefore they were free! From what I have seen though, one day ticket for an adult costs 67000 KRW.
I believe it’s a good value - adventure parks tend to be way more expensive than that!
Lotte World Adventure stands out with a big part being located inside the mall. Many adventure parks, such as Disneyland or Everland tend to be fully outside. This one however, has an inner and outer part.
To be honest, I think I prefer the outside version. The mall part just didn’t feel like being at adventure park to me. But, of course it’s always great to try new things!
Upon entering, the first thing there was a gift shop with many accessories to prepare for the experience - headbands, costumes, wands and other merch.
It’s worth noting that many people dress up in uniforms to the Lotte Park. However, I didn’t feel like wearing one, so I only went for the cute headband. Hopefully, that doesn’t invalidate my experience 😝

After that, I was ready to head in for some fun! I think it’s important to know that the lines are no joke. I missed out on some rides simply because I didn’t want to queue for 2 hours.
The first ride I went on was called Flyventure and I really loved it! It’s similar to immersive experience in cinema - there’s a huge screen all around you displaying different views and drops, and you sit in a chair that moves in different directions. I might have described it in a boring manner, but trust me, it’s very fun!
Another ride I went on was called Ballon Flight - it’s big hot air balloons that drive you slowly around the entire park, giving you a view from high up! I must admit the line was very long, I waited for around 1 hour, and I’m not too sure it was worth it. It’s a nice thing to experience if there’s only a small wait, but if you have to waste so much time waiting, it’s better to look for something else!

Of course, after all those experiences it was time to buy a snack - the park offered a lot of various food and snacks. I could mostly see popcorn and churros. I decided on getting Cola with some popcorn chicken!

It was very delicious and I liked the cute cup :)
After that, I headed outside.
It was very, very hot, which makes sense, since it was August, and summer heat in Korea is no joke.
It didn’t stop me from enjoying my time though. It’s good to note that queues outside had huge umbrellas, so that people waiting could hide in the shade rather than stand in the full sun, which sounds like a Korean’s nightmare.
My first ride was called Atlantis - it was fast and it’s the first ride that actually made me scream 🤣 It’s very fun and I highly recommend it!
The second ride I went on was called Gyro Spin. I think this is my biggest recommendation when it comes to Lotte Park! It was extremely fun, but also allowed me to enjoy views of the river and even Lotte Tower.

I managed to capture a short video and that’s the screenshot, but it obviously doesn’t nearly show how fantastic it is. I didn’t take photos of the rides - mostly for the safety reasons, but also because they’re meant to be enjoyed without the phone, and even if I took the photos, they wouldn’t really show how great it is in real life.
Either way - if you visit Lotte World Adventure, Gyro Spin is a must! 💛
After that fun, I head back inside.
Something I enjoyed was a screen playing some K-pop music videos (and of course, the music!). I randomly noticed it while passing by and it caught my attention :)

Since Koreans love photobooths so much, the adventure park did not stay behind. I easily located one thanks to the signs, and decided to take advantage of it, since I’ve been collecting different photobooth strips of myself! This one had unique Lotte World Adventure frame and headbands!

I think it’s an amazing souvenir to have, so I highly recommend getting one! Surprisingly, the queue was very short.
The last attraction waiting for me that day was a parade! People were sat around the route, so I joined and got a close view. There was music playing, dancers and park characters dancing and interacting with kids! I think seeing a parade in an adventure park is what really makes your adventure feel complete.

After this exhausting day full of fun, it was time to leave.
I really enjoyed my time at the park! Honestly, I believe it’s not the same level as Disneyland (I keep bringing it up as an example, since I believe it’s the most popular park in the world!), but definitely somewhere near. As I mentioned, I would prefer if it was fully located outside. Nevertheless, it’s amazing how it is now too.
Lotte World Adventure is a great place for some fun in Seoul, no matter if going with friends or kids 🩷
