T1 Base Camp - The Best PC Bang in Seoul!

Since Koreans love to game, it is no secret to people who have visited Korea before that PC Bangs can be found everywhere - places, where you can pay to use the computer, typically for gaming, and also have a drink or meal!
The most popular or luxurious is known to be the T1’s one - and since I paid a visit there, I will write all about it!
T1 Base Camp is located in Hongdae, and getting there with Naver Maps was extremely easy :)
It is located underground, so you take stairs down as you arrive - they are decorated with LED lights and introduce you to the history of this team with each step.
At the entrance, you can find standees of the entire team (a popular photospot!), a photobooth, as well as a gift shop that offers a lot of League of Legends merch, T1 merch (of course!) and gaming accessories or Nintendo Switch games! I ended up not buying anything, but I believe they have an amazing variety of merch that any fan of the team or gaming would love.
As I entered further, I got exposed to a huge room full of high-end PC’s that I definitely was impressed with!
The whole PC Bang is modern and designed with a lot of care, and of course, kept very neat.
There are monitors where you can pay for your ticket - despite the place looking expensive and being high quality, the ticket is very affordable. It depends on the option you choose, but I only paid 3000 WON.
I picked my seat and then got ready to play! I needed a moment to understand what was going on, since the computers are obviously, in Korean. However, with some help of a translator I managed perfectly. Soon, I had my game turned on and ready to run :)
Before I started, I noticed a big menu on my screen - you could order drinks and food straight to your computer! Each desk had it’s unique number, so staff knew exactly where to bring the food.
My choice was Milkis drink and some instant noodles with cheese and egg! It was very delicious but also cheap :) I paid about 5000 WON for both!
I was concerned the desks or setup could possibly be dirty since people eat various foods there, however, it was all very neat and clean!
As you could see, the setup is big and comfortable - there is a phone stand, phone charger, controllers - anything I could need was right there.
I spend a while playing, since I honestly chose to come because the weather outside was very rainy - it was the perfect opportunity to wait it out.
I really enjoyed playing on a professional PC with high quality accessories, since I believe what I have at home is not nearly as great 😅
The staff were very kind and made sure to help me whenever I needed it, despite the language barrier - the lady that couldn’t understand me, brought a worker that spoke English fluently.
I left the place very satisfied and could not possibly complain about anything. T1 Base Camp offered a great way to spend free time in a clean, professional environment.
I myself am not a fan of T1 and just visited for the quality - which I believe proves that this place is for everyone who loves gaming. Or maybe you’re not a professional gamer and just wanna try some easy games? I think you will also enjoy your time there!
I highly recommend visiting and can’t wait until I get the opportunity myself again 🖤
