Making perfume at Greedy Scent - My Creatrip Experience

Seoul is known for its incredible variety of unique experiences and classes, which I always take advantage of - here, I will write about a perfume making class I got to attend during my Korea trip!
I found the place through Creatrip, and was encouraged by the price of 36 USD! Making my own unique perfume in my favorite city sounded like a must.
I arrived a little early but struggled with finding entrance for a moment - eventually, it turned out to have been on the right of this cute building :)
My first impression of Greedy Scent was very positive. The interior was very modern and minimalistic - a style, that in Korea seems to be used and associated with the luxurious brands.
I was greeted by a very kind lady, who explained the entire process to me.
Surprisingly, I was the only person there, despite the afternoon time. I believe that was a good thing, since I had the staff’s whole attention and got to focus on my experience better.
The worker showed me around and after explaining everything, left me to work - anytime I needed any help or had any questions, I was supposed to call her over.
She was also fluent in English which made the whole process less confusing and comfortable :)
I started by picking my favorite scents (and took a good while with it).
Once I had them graded, the worker brought me oils of the scents I have chosen, and I was ready to start really preparing my perfume.
Besides having clear instructions on paper in front of me, I could always ask the worker in case I had any doubts.
I got to mixing the oils and really loved the process! Choosing proportions of my own just emphasized how unique this scent was going to be.
Once I was satisfied with my scent and considered it ready, the worker took it and left to pour it into a bottle.
The bottle had a custom tag with the date and my name, which I found really awesome and couldn’t think of more perfect souvenir from a trip - especially, because it was my last day in Korea.
After the lady brought my ready perfume, I noticed I also received a scent sachet bag with my perfume in it for free! She suggested that I hang it in my wardrobe :)
The scent I created was mainly Mandarine & Sandalwood 🍊🪵
The final goodies bag included the perfume, scent sachet bag, my papers I used creating the perfume (like my scent grading) as well as discount voucher for the next visit!
This class was the MOST perfect finish to my previous Korea trip.
I use the perfume regularly - it smells gorgeous and reminds me of my trip - as psychologically it is known, that scents can be very powerful when it comes to evoking feelings and memories.
I would rate my experience 11/10, as the place was very well taken care of and eye pleasing, the worker was extremely kind and helpful, I got to create something so unique and lovely and on top of that, thanks to Creatrip, it costed so little! I would love to go again 🩶
