Hot Air Balloon Ride - My Creatrip Experience 🎈

Seoul is known for the variety of attractions it offers - not any city will provide so much entertainment, one so different from another.
One of them, that I found through Creatrip, was a hot air balloon ride. Sounds wonderful, right? At first, I was scared of it - to the point that I considered not going. I would have, however, missed one of my most memorable experiences in Korea. Let me tell you all about it!
As I mentioned, I found out about this experience through Creatrip. The price looked really cheap to me, it was almost suspicious. But it’s true - for approximately 9 USD, which I paid with my Creatrip points, I got to experience this for FREE!
I arrived to the spot early, as I did not want to risk being late. Once I mentioned that I booked with Creatrip, I was given a ticket.

Then, I sat on a bench and waited with other people for our turn.
There was one staff member that entertained us throughout the short wait time - he asked me where I was from and made funny jokes. I really enjoyed that :)
The same staff member went on the ride with us to tell us about it, as well as take care of safety. Eventually, the balloon got down and we were ready to board.

This was also the moment I learned that the balloon was attached to a string - sounds pretty obvious, but I was unaware of how all of it works 😆
It looked way bigger when it was right in front of me as well. But yes, the staff member gave us all the instructions as we boarded. He deserves big applause as he was very entertaining throughout the entire experience!
I loved the lift off - with every second, I was exposed to more and more gorgeous landscape of my favorite city in the world.

My tip that I used, is to check the time of the sunset and book time of the ride accordingly! I think the sunset really impacted how amazing the views were.
Once we were in the highest point, we had time to stare, appreciate, but also take photos.
Even though I was alone, two kind girls asked me if I would like them to take photos of me, and even gave compliments. It was extremely sweet.

I found myself tearing up and getting emotional in that spot, feeling so lucky to be able to experience this.
After a while, it was time to finish. We headed down slowly, until we reached the ground.
As I mentioned, it was one of the most memorable experiences in Seoul for me - if you look at the photos, it’s pretty self-explanatory. It is one of a kind chance to see the city from that level and all the angles. I truly believe that everyone spending their time in Seoul has to try this, especially for the low price that Creatrip offers.
