A Must-Try Hair Salon in Seoul Hongdae | My Experience

During my trip to Seoul, I decided to book a haircut at a salon in the Hongdae area. The salon had a very modern, stylish interior, with concrete-textured walls that gave the space a clean, minimal, and sophisticated feel.
As soon as we arrived, the staff warmly welcomed us and helped us store our personal belongings right away. They also provided salon capes and made sure we were comfortable before starting the service, which made a great first impression.
I had booked a haircut and styling session for the day. The experience began with a hair wash, and the gentle scalp massage during the shampoo was incredibly relaxing. It felt so soothing and enjoyable, and it was honestly one of the highlights of the whole visit. I could really unwind and enjoy being pampered.
After the wash, my hair was blow-dried before the haircut began. Since I don’t speak Korean fluently, I used a translation app to tell the stylist the hairstyle I wanted. Despite the language barrier, the stylist was very patient and professional. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure we were on the same page before starting.
During the process, I also noticed how attentive the staff were. They paid attention to the small details and made sure everything felt comfortable throughout the service.
And here comes the exciting part, the final look! I’m really happy with the result, and the hairstyle turned out exactly the way I had imagined. If you’re visiting Seoul and looking for a salon in Hongdae, this could be a great option to consider.
