🎨Travel Style
Traveling on the Kanferry! Solo trip of a woman in her 20s 🚢
✈️Summary of Travel in One Line
Beauty clinic and authentic Nakkopse 🐙🦐
📅 Travel Period
4 Days 1 Night (1 Night in Busan, 2 Nights on Ship)
🇰🇷 My Experience in South Korea
- DAY 1
Friday afternoon, took a day off at Shimonoseki International Terminal Port
text editor image
There is also a dedicated parking lot at Shimonoseki International Terminal Port, and the parking fee for ferry passengers is 1,000 yen per day. You will need a parking ticket at check-in, so be sure to bring it with you!
Check in around 4:00 PM
For the 7:30 pm departure of the ship, immigration clearance will begin at 6:00 pm, so we were instructed to return to the Shimonoseki International Terminal Port by 6:00 pm.
Connected by a 5-minute walkway from Shimonoseki International Terminal Port, we spent time at a shopping mall called Sea Mall, where we had dinner, bought food and drinks to take on the ship, and did some window shopping.
18時出国審査
Returning to Shimonoseki International Terminal Port, there were many people! There were also two group tours, and a line was forming for departure inspection.
Group travel boarding started before me, and I was able to board around 19:00.
This time, I had booked a dormitory room at the most reasonable price, so I decided to line up early next time to secure a futon and a spot in order of boarding...
text editor image
It is a shared room, but there are no lockable lockers, so please put your valuables in your carry-on case, close the lock, and then take them onboard.
There is also a convenience store, a bath, and a washer dryer on board ◎

Already feeling like I'm in Korea and getting excited🎶
Sailing around 8:00 PM
To the bath after departure
There was so much shaking that it was difficult to stand and changing clothes was difficult. I regretted not taking a bath in the hour before departure...
After that, the radio waves were coming in for a while, but it's unstable so I recommend downloading movies and dramas ◎
10 PM Lights Out
The next morning at 6:30, I woke up feeling the light from the window and went out to the deck to see!
text editor image
The city of Busan seen from the sea was sparkling and impressive👀✨️
We arrived at Busan Port around 6:30, but had to wait onboard the ship for a while due to the immigration inspection starting time.
8 AM disembarkation begins
Immigration Inspection
- DAY 2
Immigration inspection is over, and action starts from 8:30 in the morning!
text editor image
Move about 30 minutes west by bus from Busan Port, deposit your luggage at the hotel, and have breakfast on Kkupa Street 🍚
📍Pohang Pork Soup
text editor image
The soup with a hint of spiciness and plenty of meat in the kookpa was delicious! My body warmed up and I could feel Korea with the spiciness 😄
Exchange currency at the exchange office on the west side
📍Nayon Money Exchange
It was also early in the morning, but there were fewer exchange offices compared to Seoul, and none of them displayed rates. I recommend exchanging currency at the port if you are feeling anxious◎
そのまま西面で予約していた美容クリニックへ(待合室で全顔麻酔を塗ってもらい待機中↓)

📍Ben Clinic Westside Store
Beautiful Japanese nurse kindly guided me from reception to counseling, including tax exemption, which made me feel at ease. I had 8 mole removals (10000 won each) + Picco eraser + 2cc of Rijuran for a total of 300000 won! In my area in Japan, one mole removal costs 5000 yen, so it's cheap, the technique is good, and although it doesn't completely disappear, it's barely noticeable with makeup, so I'm satisfied ☺️
After that, stroll around the west side
There are plenty of affordable clothing stores in Daiso and the Nishimen underground shopping area, making window shopping enjoyable!
Another visit to Nakhon Phanom
📍 Kemijup Nishi-men 2 Go Honten
text editor image
Octopus, shrimp, and hormone stir-fry! Kemichip Nishimen-ten is also a tourist spot, making it easy for solo diners to enter ◎
Also, Chemijip has a 1st store and a 2nd store on the west side, but the side dishes are a little different and the 2nd store comes with chijimi! I was attracted to this chijimi and went to the 2nd store lol
The chijimi was delicious, and the nakgopse was not as spicy as it looks, making it easy to eat and delicious 😋
Then to Costco Korea Busan, which is a 30-minute train ride from the west side!
I wanted to go to overseas Costco, and it's easy to access in Busan, which is unique to a Busan trip 🙆🏻‍♀️ I am a Costco member in Japan, so I was able to enter by showing my membership card as it is. The price range is about the same as Costco in Japan.

Advertisements were also fun just by walking around the store in Korean 🎶 There were also plenty of tasting sessions conducted ✨️
On this day it was raining so I couldn't buy anything, but next time on a sunny day, I will buy something and go back!
- DAY 3 in American English
Looking for souvenirs at the market from the morning! But the plan got canceled...
Closed on holidays and nowhere was open ( т т )💦
It seems that Sunday is a day off.
📍Free Wholesale Market
text editor image
When you look at the website, you can see that there are many shops from the 1st to the 3rd floor, where you can buy clothing, shoes, bags, flowers, handmade materials, etc. at wholesale prices!
Next time I will definitely get revenge...!
About a 10-minute walk from the free wholesale market, E-Mart opened at 10 o'clock, so I took a walk while waiting for it to open.
E-Mart is perfect for buying souvenirs because they have both food and daily necessities!
Returning on the ship departing at 9pm on that day, but since the check-in deadline was until 3pm, I took all my belongings around 1pm and took a bus from the west side to Busan Port, which is 30 minutes away
When checking in, it was explained that in the case of shared rooms, the room will be co-ed, and an additional fee (50000W) can be paid to change to a private room.
It was a smart move to head to check-in early!
Leave your carry-on luggage at the port (for a fee) and head towards the international market area about 30 minutes away by bus
📍International Market
text editor image
In Seoul, we explored street vendors and shops like Olive Young and Artbox, similar to Myeongdong, to find souvenirs 🛍
Walk straight towards Nampo Station
It takes about 15 minutes to walk, but it became a pedestrian paradise with many shops such as adidas, Kakao Friends Shop, and miscellaneous goods stores, so it was over in no time while window shopping!
At the large Lotte Mart near Nampodong Station, purchase food for dinner on the boat and souvenirs

Salad on Chicken Cutlet purchased at Lotte Mart deli corner
Returned to Busan Port around 5:00 PM by bus.
18:00 Departure Immigration Inspection Begins
Receive tax refunds in the duty-free area, collect items purchased at online duty-free stores
Boarding around 7 pm
Return to the port by 9 pm. It was a private room, so I was able to relax in the room, but the return trip was quite rough, so I recommend taking a bath before departure time when the ship is docked!
The shared room on the way there was in the middle of the ship, but the private room is at the end of the ship, so I felt stronger swaying than on the way there.
︎👍🏻The Best Things to Remember
- Food
West side of Koopa & Nokoppse
- Place
When choosing souvenirs, the Kokusai Dori area is recommended 🙆🏻‍♀️
- Shopping Items
I love Biyott (Korean yogurt) and brought some back to Japan 🐮🥣
Beauty products are convenient, cheap, and recommended at online duty-free shops 💄
- Recommended apps that won't leave you stranded even when traveling alone
①NAVER MAP (Map)
Easy to understand bus transfers, so it's my favorite
②Papago(Translator)
I cannot speak Korean so it is required
③Lotte Duty Free App
When your trip to South Korea is decided, you can start shopping online 60 days before departure. You can buy items such as sheet masks and Korean seaweed at a discounted price.
👀Places to Visit Next Time
I want to visit E-Mart Traders, known as the Korean version of Costco, in Busan, and also explore the wholesale markets that I couldn't visit this time due to the holiday.
🤳 Photos
The hotel is the reliable Japanese hotel Toyoko Inn

Reasonable price with free breakfast, perfect for solo travelers

Health equipment in the street looks Korean 🇰🇷
Above, the stay in Busan was only for one night, but there was plenty of time from morning to night, so I was able to go to various places and it became a very satisfying trip𓈒𓏸︎︎︎︎
