Yesterday afternoon, after being a university student,
right after class I went to be a middle school student again 😂
What I mean is,
this was my second visit to the school uniform rental shop “Emotional School Uniform (Jamsil Main Branch)”.
What was different from last time was that
I rented the uniform and then went out for an outdoor shoot with a Korean instant photographer.
(That set of photos is still being edited by the photographer’s studio, it was during my pink hair era 🥹)
This time, coming back to Seoul, I wanted to visit again
because I’m back on campus this month,
and every day feels like being a student,
plus my hair color has gone back to what it used to be,
so I really wanted to capture another set of photos.
And since my first experience at “Emotional School Uniform (Jamsil Main Branch)” was already great, I also wanted to try uniforms in different color palettes. I happened to see their studio shoot photos recently too, the whole set design and colors looked super dreamy, so I decided to come back for round two.
📍How to book:
Search “Emotional School Uniform” on Creatrip. Besides their own indoor studio photo packages, you can also choose to just rent a uniform for a day like I did last time. It’s perfect for wearing uniforms with friends to have fun, explore, shop, and take scenic photos.

Also, note that “Emotional School Uniform” has multiple branches. The one I went to is the “Jamsil Main Branch” near “Lotte World”.
🚇Getting there: I took Subway Line 2 directly from Ewha Womans Univ. Station to “Jamsil” Station, then walked out Exit 3. Since Jamsil Station is also connected to Lotte Department Store, you can go shopping first too.
I chose Exit 3 because I forgot to eat lunch yesterday 😂
and by the time class ended, I was already a bit rushed,
but I remembered there were lots of cafes along the way, so I went this route.
And sure enough,
I spotted a pink cafe on the way,
so I didn’t hesitate and decided on this one.
(That street seriously has so many cafes, even when I stayed nearby and had chances to go again, I still got choice paralysis every time 😐)
This pink cafe, “CREAM BAGEL”, is exactly what it sounds like, bagels in different flavors, and they all looked so tempting 🤩 Since I was short on time, I just chose their signature item and a juice. It tasted great, and even though it’s cream, it wasn’t overly sweet or heavy.
It’s also a great place for photos, both the indoor and outdoor areas are comfortable, and you get a nice view too.
After eating, just walk a few more steps forward and you’ll reach the destination, “Emotional School Uniform (Jamsil Main Branch)”.
The rental shop is on the 4th floor, and on the 3rd floor there’s also a photo booth for “life four cuts”, so it’s easy to snap some memories in your uniform look 😉
After you enter, the staff will confirm your booking. Whether you’re renting to go out for an outdoor shoot and sightseeing, or doing an indoor studio shoot, they’ll ask you to leave your passport at the shop until you return the uniform. (But the first time I went, I was doing an outdoor shoot and was worried I might need my passport that day, so I left my ID card instead, and it was fine then. Not sure if the rules have changed since.)
Then they’ll explain what clothing and accessories are included in your package. If you want to change outfits and styles throughout the day, you’ll need to pay a little extra 🙂↕️
After that, put your belongings in the lockers outside,
and then you can go choose the star of the day, the “school uniform”.
