Today was our first full day in Korea.
Just having arrived. We had two things we wanted to take care of straight away. Getting out hair cut aand getting new glasses. First stop Soonsiki in Hongdae. Hope I spelled that correctly. Got the appointment through Creatrip. Super easy. Got a cut and style with my daughter. We love our new look!! She got long layers and I got a short pixie kind of style. It was great that they could accommodate different styles with ease. I also got a hair treatment that felt really nice after a long flight.
Hubz lost his glasses on the flight so we were off to Davich in Myeungdong where the whole family got kitted out with new glasses and shades. The timing of the glasses being ready if you have a very particular prescription or want premium lens take longer and may be ready the next day. Because we went when it was Friday (also at 4pm) we weren't able to get the lenses we wanted as we could wait until Monday to receive them. However even with the glasses we did buy, we are very happy. Got a 10% discount through the Creatrip app.
Afterwards, we were starving and wanted sushi. So we searched on Kakao maps and found a sushi place near by. So good! Can't remember the name but it's on the 2floor and it's Hello Kitty themed.
As my daughter and I wanted to shop and my hubz was not into it, he sat at cat cafe which he enjoyed while my daughter and I popped into Art box, Daiso, and some pharmacy for some viral k-beauty skin stuff.
Excellent day.
Ended it by having a jjajang myun delivered to our hotel. 😋
