This time, a whirlwind trip to Jeju Island!
Only had time for a one night, two day trip, so booked an early morning flight from Gimpo Airport βοΈ

Waking up early was tough, but to enjoy Jeju Island a little bit more π€
Gimpo Airport, which I visited after a long time, is of course compact compared to Incheon Airport, but thanks to that, I was able to pass through security in a few minutes β¨
Online check-in was done in advance, so all I had to do was scan the QR code with my smartphone π΅
Of course, a passport is required!

Because it's a domestic flight, there were no passengers around the boarding gate 1.5 hours before departure, and they started gathering little by little with less than 1 hour until departure π

Departing on time, arriving at Jeju Airport in about 1 hour!
Let's hop on the bus and get moving π The bus we're taking is the airport limousine bus number '600'! It connects Jeju Airport with the southern side of Jeju Island π
Heading to the extremely popular tonkatsu restaurant where there is a long line every morning, which is the first destination, we took a bus for about an hour π
After arrival, we lined up for about 40 minutes until the number distribution started at 10 am, and the number we got was 102 π

When you enter a Korean phone number into the ticket machine, a system will send the confirmation number to KakaoTalk, and you will be able to check information such as the confirmation number being guided to the store after opening π±
In Korea, it is often necessary to have a mobile phone number when making reservations at stores, so when traveling to Korea, it is recommended to use not only the internet but also the phone, SIM card rental or eSIM are recommendedβͺ
I had about 3 and a half hours until my scheduled entry time, so I decided to go to a nearby tourist spot during that time π
For this trip, we chose sightseeing spots that do not require transfers because we are traveling by bus π
I had some time until lunch, so I bought and ate a hotteok at a shop near the tourist attraction exit π

Jeju Island's Hotteok had seaweed in it π²
But the taste is the same as usual hotteok, with the delicious taste of honey π It was delicious π΅
After that, we returned to the tonkatsu restaurant earlier and sat on the chairs prepared at the entrance of the store to wait π
But the highly popular cheese cutlet that I wanted to eat was sold out π

I was very disappointed because I was looking forward to it, but I decided to purchase products using cheese sold at the takeaway store attached to the storeπ

I was able to enter the store after purchasing this while waitingβ¨
I took a photo with cheese ball cutlets that I purchased in advance π·

Cheese ball cutlet is crispy when freshly fried, with stretchy cheese π

After safely enjoying a late lunch and filling up our stomachs, we headed towards the hotel while sightseeing π
The return flight is also in the morning, so I booked a hotel near the airport π

After taking a break and leaving our luggage, we went for a walk around the hotelπΎ The place we wanted to go was the 'local supermarket'β¨
It's fun to see original products and ingredients from that region, and compare them with the prices in your own area π It's really recommendedβͺ
The supermarket we went to this time had a bakery and a delicatessen inside, so we decided to buy dinner at the supermarket and eat it at the hotel π

Jeju Makgeolli, it was really delicious!!π
The next day, purchase the final souvenirs at Jeju Airport π

Limited edition snacks that can only be purchased at Jeju Airport π The snacks, like cookies, were deliciousπ
It was a whirlwind trip, but we fully enjoyed the gourmet food of Jeju Island and returned to Seoulπ΅
