Travel to Seoul with kids in Hongdaeβ

Last summer, we went to Seoul with three generations!
I have four children aged 2 to 6th grade, so I'm planning a trip mainly focused on places where children can enjoy themselves π
The schedule was for 3 nights and 4 days, with the departure in the afternoon on the way there and in the morning on the way back.
So, the elementary school group went to school in the morning and then left early to go to the airportπ«

I arrived at Incheon International Airport, it was already evening π
At the convenience store in the airport, I bought a light sandwich and rice ball to eat, and immediately started moving!

Immediately, take a general train of the airport railway and head to the first destination, 'Hongdae' π
It takes about 1 hour to arrive from Incheon International Airport π
Hongdae has an image of being a young people's town, but there are also many shops selling Japanese anime and characters, so it is a region where children under elementary school age can enjoy themselves enough!
As soon as you get off the train, head to 'AK & Hongdae Store' directly connected to the station.
There are a lot of variety stores and anime goods shops, so it's convenient because the restroom is easy to access. LOL.
When traveling with children, it is most important to confirm the location of the restroom!
As a recommendation, it is the station, department store, shopping mall, and movie theaterπ

Children were excited at the shop and cafe with familiar characters they were used to π
And also purchased goods...lol.
It doesn't feel like I've come to Korea at all, just by looking at the place where anime goods are sold π
Next, the shop we headed to was a shop called '32 Parupe', which sells 32cm soft serve ice creamπ¦
When traveling to Korea, I always used to go to a store in Myeongdong, but unfortunately it closed during the corona period, so now I can't eat there unless I come to Hongdae...

One for 3,000 won (about 330 yen) and it's cheap, and the kids are delighted with the long soft serve ice cream π
You can also have it put in a cup, so even small children can eat it without worrying about spilling it.
During hot weather, you have to eat it quickly before it melts. π¦

The next place I visited is '943KING’S CROSS' near '32 Parupe' π§Ή

You can tell just by looking at the name and appearance of the store, but it's a cafe with a Harry Potter concept!
However, it is a one-order system, so you must be sure to order in order to visit the store. π¦ And, I wonder if the viewing fee is included, the menu is set quite high π

However, a 2-year-old child was able to enter without ordering anything π
After placing your order, you will be given a vibrating bell, so when the bell rings, you will need to return to the first floor to pick up your itemsπΉ

The store is truly made to resemble the world of Harry Potter, so I think Harry Potter fans will enjoy it!
Children had watched the entire Harry Potter series before coming here, so they were all excitedly exploring every floor π
On the first day, we strolled around Hongdae like this and enjoyed soft serve ice cream and cafes πΎ
Since it's a young people's town, you may not feel much of Korea, but Hongdae is a recommended tourist spot when you are with children βͺ
