Forehead Botox at Abijou Clinic (Hongdae)

I recently visited Abijou Clinic in Hongdae and wanted to share a detailed review because the experience was genuinely positive from start to finish. There are many dermatology and aesthetic clinics in Seoul, especially around Hongdae and Gangnam, so it can sometimes be hard to know which ones are worth visiting. After going myself, I can say that Abijou stood out to me for several reasons: cleanliness, organization, the overall atmosphere, and how comfortable they make international patients feel.
The first thing I noticed when I arrived was how clean and fresh the clinic felt. The space is very well maintained and organized, which immediately made me feel at ease. Everything looked modern and orderly, and the environment had a pleasant, clean smell rather than the strong clinical smell that some places have.
The lobby area was also so, so fancy! While waiting, I noticed they offer free drinks for patients! There were both coffee and non-coffee options available, so even people who don’t drink caffeine can enjoy something. What made it even more fun was that the drinks were actually made by a robot machine in the lobby.
Another thing that really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was very gentle, polite, and professional. Sometimes aesthetic clinics can feel a bit rushed or impersonal because they see so many patients each day, but that wasn’t my experience here. The staff were patient when explaining things and made sure I understood the process before moving forward. Their overall attitude felt calm and considerate, which made the experience much more comfortable.
The doctor was also excellent. One thing that people often worry about with dermatology or aesthetic procedures is discomfort, but the doctor had extremely gentle hands.
Another major advantage of Abijou Clinic, especially for people living in Seoul or visiting from abroad, is how accessible it is for many languages. Hongdae is an area that attracts a lot of international visitors, students, and residents, and the clinic seems very prepared for that. Communication was easy and the staff are clearly used to helping people who may not speak Korean fluently. For anyone who feels nervous about visiting a clinic in another country, this is a huge plus.
Because of this, I think Abijou is a great option not only for locals but also for international residents, tourists, or students living in Korea.
Overall, my experience at Abijou Clinic in Hongdae was very positive. The clinic is clean, organized, and modern, the lobby amenities like the robot-made drinks are a fun touch, and the staff and doctor were all extremely gentle and professional.
If you are considering visiting a dermatology or aesthetic clinic in the Hongdae area, I think Abijou is definitely worth checking out. I also want to note their evts, like my Botox today, the price was so reasonable. 20,900 won only!!! (For local grade botox - Coretox) It's not always this price, but it is still very affordable.
I'll be a return customer for sure!
