Gyeongju World: Make a winter wonderland dream come true!

Just finished a mother-daughter getaway to Busan, and on the return flight my daughter kept holding my hand saying she already misses the snow at Gyeongju. This time I planned a surprise that had her squealing and even got my blood pumping too: a trip to Gyeongju World, about an hour’s drive from Busan.
Many people visit Gyeongju to explore its ancient city culture, but in winter, if you bring kids, Gyeongju World’s charm will completely change your perception. This time I not only took my daughter to try many attractions, I also let her go crazy playing in the rare southern white snow. Today I want to share this laughter-filled snow party, and how I used the platform’s smart tools to easily take care of everything before we left.
As an experienced family traveler, what I dread most is having to hold my child’s hand in freezing temperatures below zero while standing in long lines in the cold wind to buy tickets. This time I decided to use the most efficient strategy: handle all the ticketing directly on the platform.
1. Great-value e-ticket: saves you money and effort
Before we left, I booked a one-day ticket to Gyeongju World directly on the platform. To be honest, the platform’s interface is very intuitive, from searching keywords, choosing a plan, to paying by card, the whole process took less than three minutes. After the order went through, the app immediately generated an e-ticket and a reservation number.
When we arrived at the park entrance and saw the long line at the ticket window, I just gracefully took out my phone and showed the QR code for staff to scan, then we were inside within seconds. That instant-entry feeling really set the tone for the trip, especially on a winter morning, when avoiding even one extra minute of cold wind feels like a small blessing.
2. Silvery, Dreamy Memories: Meeting a Snow Country in Korea
Although it doesn't snow much in Busan city, Gyeongju World thoughtfully created an artificial snow area for kids in winter. Watching my daughter step onto the thick, soft white snow for the first time, excitedly crouch down and study the snowflakes with her little hands, I truly felt this trip was so worth planning.
The park’s Snow Sled was the highlight of our mother-daughter trip. Seeing the long, silvery-white slope, my daughter grabbed my hand, and even though climbing up over and over wore her out, she wanted to rush up again and again. The thrill of sitting in the sled and plunging down from the top made even me, an adult, scream out loud. With a spectacular Ferris wheel in the background and a blanket of pure white snow ahead, the scene felt incredibly picturesque, every snap a winter postcard-worthy shot.

3. High energy: exciting festivals and exotic vibes
Besides the exciting snow activities, the architecture at Gyeongju World also impressed me. The buildings in the park are full of European small-town charm, and walking on the cobblestone paths felt like being instantly transported from Korea to Northern Europe. We were lucky to catch a stage performance, watching energetic dancers passionately move in the cold wind, and our daughter watched spellbound, even swaying to the beat. That lively, joyful atmosphere completely chased away the winter chill.

While our family had a blast on the park rides and sledding, I felt a steady reassurance the whole time, born from my commitment to managing risks.
The platform add-on invisible shield: When doing big physical activities in the snow, like snow sledding, the biggest worry is accidental collisions or falls. Fortunately, when I booked through the platform, I also purchased Korean local travel insurance provided by Lotte Insurance.
Remarkable value protection: the premium for this insurance is incredibly low, about NT$577 for two people for eight days. For less than the cost of a daily snack, you get comprehensive coverage including emergency overseas illness medical care and accidental injury compensation, even covering fractures and burns.
Advantages of digital management: This time both the theme park tickets and the insurance policy information were all stored in the same app on the platform. I didn’t have to worry about losing paper copies, I could handle everything with a swipe on my phone, and for a mom going out with kids who can get flustered at any moment, it was a lifesaver.
The snowy adventure at Gyeongju World ended perfectly as the sun went down. Watching my daughter sleeping soundly on the ride home, her face still wearing a contented smile, I knew this would become another precious memory she’d remember for a very long time. This kind of pure joy can’t be replaced by anything material.
I'm really thankful for the platform's convenient booking feature, it let us enjoy a top-tier travel experience at a great price. If you're planning to bring your family or kids to Korea, I highly recommend buying your tickets on the platform in advance. Save your energy and time in lines, and spend them on your family's laughter and those precious moments together.
May every trip you take be protected by safety and convenience, so you can bravely challenge yourself and create your brightest memories!
