Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seochon

Gyeongbokgung is one of Seoul's most iconic tourist attractions.
Visiting the whole area can take a lot of time, and you might need quite a bit of stamina.
Above all, with some areas open only seasonally and others by reservation, it’s almost impossible to see everything in one visit.
Especially the seasonally opened Jibokjae
A building constructed in 1891 to serve as the study and archive of Joseon Dynasty King Gojong.
Gyeonghoeru, where kings and foreign envoys were invited and grand banquets were held
Also, even if you can see things from the outside, being able to go inside is sometimes limited to certain times of the year.
Exploring the whole of Gyeongbokgung takes time, and anyway (Gyeongbokgung is great no matter how many times you visit)…
This time I want to introduce camel coffee in Bukchon.
The owner of this cafe is famous under the name Mr. Camel.
For fashion lovers who are friendly and love coffee.
If you're lucky, you might meet Mr. Camel at the Seochon shop after a run.
My recommendation is camel coffee and the marble pound cake↓

Moist and I've kept returning for it again and again.
Of course, the egg tart in the photo was jiggly and delicious.

This is what spring looks like.
In autumn the foliage turns a sea of gold.

Bought a drip coffee bag as a souvenir.
It's great you can enjoy camel coffee at home.
They open early in the morning, so be sure to visit at least once.
There are famous cafes all around nearby.
Hot Seochon, recommended.
Next to Gyeongbokgung is the National Palace Museum of Korea, so you can also learn about history.
The shop offers a variety of items like original bags and postcards, a must for history lovers.
After enjoying this area, you can take Line 3 (Seoul Subway Line 3) to Apgujeong or Sinsa
Take a bus to around Myeongdong if you like
Or you can walk toward Myeongdong, passing sights like the Statue of King Sejong along the way
You can enjoy it all day at a leisurely pace, or spend just half a day or a few hours there, it’s a very charming area.
Old yet new. Old but new.
Seoul packed into one place.
