I recently took a class at Whipped in Seongsu, and it turned out to be such a fun and personalized experience. I went in thinking it would just be a simple DIY skincare workshop, but it was so much more!
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and creative. Even though I came alone, there were other people in the class with different bookings, so the space felt lively and social. It was actually nice because I was worried I'd be the only one in the class at 11AM on a holiday haha!
What really stood out to me was that they didn’t just have us randomly mix ingredients. The class started with a proper skin analysis, which made the whole experience feel thoughtful and tailored. They assessed my skin type and condition before guiding me toward the best options for me.
They also offered instructions and guidance in various languages. You could tell they were used to welcoming people from different countries!
One of the highlights was creating my own cleanser. There’s something so satisfying about understanding what goes into your skincare and actually making it yourself. Instead of just buying something off the shelf, I got to choose pack that suited my skin and learn why they were beneficial.
After the analysis, I chose to make a moisturizing mask pack that matched my skin type. I picked fig as my key ingredient, which felt luxurious and nourishing. The process of mixing everything together felt almost therapeutic. It takes physical POWER haha! and the staff explained each step clearly.
Knowing that the mask was specifically designed for my skin type made it feel extra special.
Beyond the skincare itself, the class had such a playful and warm vibe. They gave out free gifts, which was such a nice surprise. They even had little competitions during the session, which made everything feel interactive and engaging. I got a serious arm workout as well 😆
